I definitely wouldn't call Eccleston a downgrade from Mads. I'm even more excited about CE joining because I've loved everything I've seen him in, from Doctor Who to Heroes to Jude, just to name a few.

I read that and got REALLY excited. Im gonna be honest its mostly that he was my first Doctor. And for whatever reason in my head it kinda confirms Malekith. But I could be very very wrong

Eccleston's pretty cool, I really only know him from his bit on Heroes but he's quality.

He was such a big highlight for me during the first season of Heroes that I watched his run on Doctor Who, then proceeded to do a little mini-marathon of his movies. He's a brilliant actor, I think.

Out of most of the news about this movie, this has me the most excited!

Seems like a good choice. Still wondering who and what else we'll see in this movie. Malekith is a necessary stop on the road to Surtur, but maybe not right away. It would be cool, though.

actually thought he was the only good thing about GI Joe. totally forgot he was in Heroes. just watched Sherlock Holmes 2 a few days ago and was thinking hed be awesome in a Marvel movie. plus he actually kinda looks like malekith. huge win in my book. raised my excitement bhig time
