Joe Johnson directed Jumanji and John Favreau directed Zathura, both films based on books by Chris Van Allsburg. Years later Johnston and Favreau would each direct an Avengers solo character movie.

Gremlins has been on a few times recently. Noticed a couple things...
Corey Feldman was in it.
The DJ's billboard is done to make him look like Indiana Jones, font and all.

In Hook, the building they were dedicating to Wendy was a part of the Great Ormand Hospital that owns the rights to Peter Pan....

Worse as i've actually had to stay in that building a few times over the years

My brother and I used to get so mad when people refered to him as "Deebo." We were always like "His name is Zeus, damn it!"

Last week, I watched Hot Tub Time Machine for the first time in a while. I never realized until now that the song Craig Robinson's character is singing in his little flashback to his terrible performance was "Careless Whisper."
