these are some of the best looking figures i've seen
nearly have them all sans bane (never saw him in stores and ebay prices are ridiculous) Detective Vision Batman (not interested) Croc/mr.freeze (waiting til the come down a bit cause $65 is a bit steep) Can't wait for wave 3, definatley want ra's, penguin and azrael wouldn't mind getting nightwing and twoface from the dc universe line

Just imagine a darker looking nightwing, and a two face with actual detail instead of a purple half! Hopefully if they continue their figures theyll make some more AC ones like theyre doing with the titan joker ^.^

Hey everyone, glad this thread got made. I figured it would be a good idea to provide a comprehensive list of all the Arkham Asylum/City figures that you guys can use as a guide for collecting. This list is for the DC Direct figures ONLY. No Legacy figures are included in this list.
Batman: Arkham Asylum Series 1
(To Be Released October 2012)
27 Figures Total (includes to be released figures) Let me know if I am missing anything, I don't think so though. Except for the Comic Con Battle Damaged Batman, I have every figure so far (including Bane) mint in box, I have also already pre-ordered all of the to be released ones. Been trying to look for a good deal on the Comic Con Batman for a while now but it's tough to snag one for the right price these days, especially with the renewed hype on these, on top of the limited 4000 figure run. It's pretty amazing the price that Bane is fetching these days, but not totally surprising. He has always been the most popular and highly sought after figure of them all. Some even argue that Bane should have been a "Deluxe" figure with premium retail pricing given his immense size & weight (1.5 pounds), and now with TDKR the demand for this figure is higher than ever. Overall i'd have to say that the DC Direct Arkham line of Batman figures is one of the best series of Batman figures ever made. The Movie Masters series is also great but the attention to detail, depiction, and quality on this line just surpasses Mattel's MM line in my opinion. I agree that the price is a bit on the high end for Killer Croc and especially Mister Freeze (given his somewhat "non-deluxe" size) but barring a total random luck situation or someone who is just trying to get rid of the figure quickly and priced to move, it's gonna be tough getting those figures for under $50 as DC still sells them on their own website for $54.95 + shipping.
The best deal online currently for these is from gohastings.com which still has both in stock and currently has a promotional coupon for $15 off all orders over $55. keep in mind though that go hastings is a large retailer and not a collector vendor so I can't vouch for the quality of the packaging itself, but if you're an opener, it wouldn't really matter then. |

I had heard that the Killer Croc figure has issues with the arms breaking/falling off easily. Anyone experience this?

I have no idea if DC has officially acknowledged this directly yet and/or has done anything about it. details are somewhat sketchy if it's just a few batches of these that are affected in this manner, or if all of them are vulnerable to this happening at some degree, with occurrences just being totally random based on how they are handled. Has anyone else heard any more info on this and if DC has addressed it at all? I already have my figure, but I'm just curious to know.. It is a bit concerning that this figure has this issue as it is such an awesome and bad ass figure that's integral to the collection. I keep mine mint in box so I have not actually handled it so I can't personally comment on it too much, though everything looks secure and fine from the packaging window. Given this however I would probably say to be safe that this is not a figure to be played with or handled by children, which is somewhat a shame, but probably won't affect MIB collectors as much. Still very disappointing that DC would put out a shotty figure, especially on their more expensive Deluxe line. not even sure how this stuff even makes it past design & development so much quality control. |

Entertainment Earth has a pre-order for $59.99.
I think it's a great figure, but I'm sorta staying away from variants as I have Arkham Asylum Joker already and buy a lot, so the price is a turn off. Here's some food for thought though. I went to a comic shop yesterday that luckily had Scarecrow, Catwoman, Hush, Zsasz, Poison Ivy, Legacy Harley Quinn. Since I was coming from about 45 minutes away the guy was super cool and gave me all for $15 each. I later went to another shop and got Riddler for $20. He said that dealers get invoiced for $25 on the deluxe figures and would do a Mr. Freeze for $35. I'm on the fence with Croc though as the arms break and even his employee mentioned the same thing. I would honestly say if you have a comic shop near you, see if they can do a pre-order for you and come down on the price a bit. So I would think dealers are paying $30-$35 for Titan Joker. Even $45-$50 is a bit steep for that though. If he doesn't have accessories, the guys from China on Ebay will prob have him for $30ish. I've bought stuff that way if they don't have accessories and if you open your figs, they're not knock offs. They're definitely overstock or slight seconds of some sort. Or stolen by workers haha. |

still can't see why Mr.Freeze is so expensive when in person he's not really much bigger than the standard figures

Yeah, but I have seen one in person and the detail is amazing. See if you can work a deal with a local comic shop. Croc's detail is amazing. I may buy it when people figure out a fix for the arms. It's pretty across the board with the arms falling off at the joint if you google it or read the Amazon reviews. The prices on Bane are crazy though. It was the same wave as Poison Ivy and Zsasz and those aren't going for much more than $30 even on ebay or Amazon, so I'm going to keep looking at small shops or wait til the movie craze is over and he comes down a bit.

I'm EXTREMELY behind on the Arkham figures. The only one I actually own is Harley from the AC line. That being said, I'm looking for AA Joker, AA Scarecrow, AA Harley, AA Zsasz, AA Poison Ivy, and from AC I need: Hush as of now. If you guys have extras of these, or know a place I can find them for a good price, I'd really appreciate it. Again, just like TDKR MM stuff, most of the time the internet price on these are awful, especially for AA Joker, Harley and Scarecrow. Those seem to be the biggest thorns in my side.

I was actually curious about all of these sellers on EBay that sell these figures for 10-12 bucks and ship from Asia. Are these reliable sources/figures?

I have bought figures from these sellers. I have Mad Hatter coming. He was $13.00 with free shipping. They're legit. They are either stolen from the factory or the slightest of seconds as I haven't found anything wrong with figures I have bought from these types of sellers. They could even be extras that didn't get packaged. It's like when I printing press gets an order for 20,000 restaurant menus. They print 22,000 to have extra in case of slight errors. They never come with accessories, but Mad Hatter does come with his hat. I only buy the figures that don't come with accessories in their packages. You can get Harley Quinn, but no baseball bat.
