Could it possibly be Marvel's answer to Batman Arkham City?
I reckon if any Marvel character could do it it's probably Wolverine. If you make it as detailed and full of as much love as Arkham City as well as including a Japanese sort of style it would be incredible. Don't you think they should at least try, if not for the movie tie-in than with a game with it's own continuity. Marvel needs to do better than "X-men Destiny" looks.

Well if they follow the formula of the Origins video game it could be really great, The origins game was really awesome, so much better than the movie they didnt limit it to just within the confines of a horrible movie, it took place, before, after and during it was really well done.
So if they do something similar then yea it could be great but i don't know if theyll be able to top it. |

If they made just a wolverine game it could work but if it is a movie game it will be rushed and the time needed to make it amazing won't be given to it.

yeah, an original Wolverine game building upon the Origins one would have potential to be very good but as long as it's a tie-in game to the movie, It'll definitely be rushed and end up coming up short

I don't know, most of the work is done. They already have the basic game in place, all they would have to do is extend it to the new movie. maybe tweak the graphics a bit and your all set. they have well over a year to get it done, since the movie by all accounts want film til June....

I agree that if they were to follow suit with the Origins video game mixed with some new features to compliment the film's direction, then we could have a winner. The Origins game was loads of fun. Plus they didn't rely on basically everything that happend in the movie, they added some things to lead up to those events as well as adding in some bits from Logan's world.
Already I'm optimistic about this movie but if the game can be handled properly with the same formula as the first then it could potentially be great.

The first game was awesome and i say it should be as great as the Arkham games, the first X-Men Origins game and Amazing Spider-Man game.

I want X-Men to have a videogame like God of Wars or an open world videogame like GTA.

I somewhat agree with this. I think the fighting in the Origins game was pretty good, but I would have preferred a more open game to explore. Not necessarily an open world game, but at least have the levels more open (though the levels in Origins were pretty big, but largely linear). I think what a lot of fans want from games is the ability to explore the world which the fiction is set in as well as playing through the story.

I want a Lego Wolverine game. Or even better, a Lego X-Men game.

The Origins game was fantastic, brutal and violent. How the movie should have been.

Did anyone actually play the Origins Wolverine Game? It was Awesome!!! It was the only video game-movie game i played that was actually better than the movie.
Like the game was actually great all the extra stuff outside the movies, and the alternate costumes, i came several times while playing. I assure you. |
