Favorites:
The Incredible Hulk: 9.8/10
The Avengers: 9.5/10
DareDevil: Director's Cut: 9/10
The Punisher (2004): 8.5/10
X-Men 2: 9/10
X-Men: 9/10
Spider-Man 3: 8.2/10
Iron Man: 9/10

Great, but not favorite:
X-Men First Class: 9/10

Good, watched again and again:
Spider-Man: 8/10
The Amazing Spider-Man: 7.8/10 (better character representation though)
Spider-Man 2: 7/10 (my least favorite Spidey film, problem?)
Hulk: 8/10
Thor: 8.5/10
X-Men 3 The Last Stand: 8/10

Good, though not that much worth watching again and again imo:
Captain America: 7.5/10
Iron Man 2: 7.5/10 (I HATE Virginia most of this movie)

Ok movies, but I do enjoy them:
X-Men Origins Wolverine
Fantastic Four films
Punisher War Zone
The Punisher (1989)

Did not watch:
Blade films

Forgettable:
The rest

Does it make the movie any better?

I'm suprised I'm not seeing more Blade on the tops of lists. IMO it might be the best superhero movie made and its still the only time a character was enhanced from its comic counterpart.

A fraction of it gives more to the discussion after the park fight.
It's not only 30 added minutes, some scenes are differently arranged, and two useless misplaced scenes shown in the theatrical cut aren't here
Director's Cut is -by miles- a better movie

It's definitely worth watching the directors cut. but it by no means suddenly becomes a high quality film. It's hard to get around the fact both the male and female lead were poor casting choices.

That being said, if i ever watch it again it'll be the directors cut! lol.

They just never felt like Marvel to me in the way the MS films do. And the only one's that have been half decent are the first Spider-Man and TASM.

Okay, I seriously have to ask. . . what is so awful about the Iron Man films? I know that different people, different tastes and all. . . but I literally can't comprehend how someone could like the worst of the X-Men movies and both Fantastic Four films *better* than them.

My top 5:

1. Avengers
2. Blade 2
3. Blade
4. The Incredible Hulk
5. Spiderman 2

Honestly, it's really hard to rank them. Of the modern era Marvel films (a total of 27 right now), there have only been 2 bad ones. That's an outstanding body of work.

Maybe he has a grudge against RDJ, or technology, or Gwyneth Paltrow.

Believe me man, I'm as curious and confused as you are.

The films, once under a category, are in no particular order.

But, admittedly, Iron Man 2 did rock my socks off with its villains and plot. I dig that "hero having difficulty being a hero" nonsense. Might explain why Spider-Man 2 is high up there as well.

This. I respect opinion. Am just thoroughly curious.

My guess is an extreme dislike for RDJ, or a phobia of robots...

EDIT: LOL didnt even see yours:
