I play PSP fairly regularly (as a matter of fact I just got it online last night for the first time since I got it, like, 2 years ago.) It's a solid handheld and I think it's great. It is a couple of years old, though, and with the Vita being the new big thing, expect PSP to fade away...

The Vita, on the other hand, I don't own. I was going to buy one but I held back because of the "location tracking software that you can't shut off" described on the back of the box. I returned to think about it again, and realized that if I bought the Vita, I would still need to buy a memory card (starting at around 40 bucks) before I could even play games on it.

Still considering it, but that's a lot of money.

I'd honestly wait.. I bought mine on launch day.. Now I no longer own it. I sold it off for 200.

PS One titles coming August 28th
PS Plus is coming to Vita
Cross Buy Feature introduced. Buy Playstation All-Stars on PS3 and get Vita version for free.
Cross Controller function introduced for LBP2. Use Vita as controller and for interacting with the environment.
COD and Killzone were shown.
MM's new IP, Tearaway, was introduced trailer below:

I hope this doesn't turn out to be another resistance I really want nihilistic to surprise everyone and make a great game. I also hope they can improve the graphics before this game releases in November I wouldn't mind if this game getting pushed back a few months so they can polish things up

Yeah, drop hopes for Call of Duty now, 101. Killzone is your one hope at a good Vita FPS. Sony have done nothing but hurt the Vita in letting Nihilistic handle the first two entries in the genre.

Well considering that this is the PS Blog i am sure that they will be little Bias towards it and won't flat out say this looks bad.

Well I am a major Killzone fan so I am definitely getting that day one COD on the other hand I am really disappointed Sony/Activision threw away a golden opportunity

When did Nihilistic have time to make a CoD game while making Burning Skies? Its not like they are a big team. Guess it explains why that game was subpar. Graphics for this CoD does look like a first year PS3 game at best

It's just a disaster waiting to happen. It would be more beneficial to the Vita at this point to just outright cancel the game or start from scratch with a team capable of doing the franchise justice.

They should have had Zipper do COD i mean they made their recent SOCOM games MAG structured similar to the COD games. Its a shame they closed Zipper.

The list of compatible games is surprisingly extensive! It's live now - I'm putting Crash Bandicoot, Resident Evil 3, Silent Hill, and the Legacy of Kain games on there asap.

I put most of my PSOne games on my Vita, Pretty nice

Syphon Filter, all the Resident Evils, Hot Shots Golf 2, Castlevania, and FFV.

I also realized that I could put LBP PSP on it so I did that as well. I must have missed that earlier.

Edit: Scratch off Final Fantasy V, I thought I had that copied successfully, I don't think it's compatible.

Annoyingly you can't transfer the d-pad buttons to the analog stick like you could on PSP. Holding the Vita by the face buttons and d-pad for non-dualshock compatible titles feels stupid.

Thanx,I got ModRacers Nation:Road Trip,I liked the one for PS3 and I got it for free cause Best Buy gave me a 50 dollar gift card and so I used it on it since it's the cheapest game(20 bucks)and I got the heavy dutty case and a screen protection sticker!!!

I'll be getting LBP Vita next month and maybe get Mortal Kombat or Uncharted:Golden Compass for Chrismas!

I got the Vita bundled with Madden 13...I like it so far but im still learning how to hold it while I play games...I also downloaded FF7
