I don't care much for Reynolds either, but I think he did a pretty good job in "Safe House".

I can't argue with you there. The two movies they've starred in together, Reilly has been the funnier one. I also remember getting in an arugment with someone when Walk Hard came out simply because they were talking about how much better it would've been with Will Ferrell instead. They were wrong. WRONG I TELL YOU!

I love Will Ferrell, and I can't get behind the opinion that John C. is funnier or better than Will (but then, that's why it's in the unpopular opinion thread), but there's no way anyone else could have done the brilliant things with Walk Hard that John C. Reilly did.

Tim Burton and Michael Keaton nailed the characterization of Batman. The obsession, the detective side, sociopathic behavior, disregard for order and authority, doesn't choose or need to be Batman but that's who he really is, he's psychologically unable to retire.

He really is a good actor. I really don't know when the Hype turned on him; he used to always be suggested for roles.
