Yeah not really fond of that one. She looks a little haggard and I don't like how the skirt looks.

Ha!But there is hope.Wb might decide they dont want MOS to be the only lead in to Justice League, they might decide to release Wonderwoman.I just hope WB can open their eyes to the goldmine that is Wonderwoman and not let GLs failure dampen their hopes for other non batman related successes.Anyways im pretty sure the success of marvels phase 2 movies comin off the avengers wimm prompt them to release more superhero films.

I no longer care who get cast as Wonder Woman or who the director will be.
It doesn't even matter if the film will suck b*lls, and be really really bad. It's only important that we get a live action adaption. The we have atleast gotten to see the character being made as a motion picture. |

Which is why the pilot never even made it onto airwaves. If you don't want quality, then why bother wanting anything?

LOL, yeah. A crappy movie would be worse than no movie at all. Not just for Wonder Woman's standing in the public eye, but it would also damage the prospects of all potential film adaptations starring female superheroes in the same way that people now use Catwoman and Elektra as evidence that female superhero movies don't work.

They'll never get anywhere if they stay afraid of making flops. I say they should keep going until they learn to make it better and better. The tv pilot was a blessing because we know more about how to improve.

But it's such a shame that in 2011, with so much potential...they still gave us ****
I just hope they follow Nolan's guidelines when doing this movie. Say what you will, but the man saved Batman with TLC.

Nolan saved Batman for sure, and even the haters of his trilogy should be thanking him because for you haters out there...it has opened the door for WB to continue taking the character seriously, in a darker fashion. But they'll also want to do the opposite of realistic (hopefully). Something more comic accurate. Everybody wins this way cuz the Nolan fans dont want a repeat and the non-fans want something opposite. But we all agree that it should not be a spoof or campy.
As for Wonder Woman. I agree that with a studios failure, comes a positive reaction. Just look at Batman & Robin, Superman Returns. WB at least learn from their horrible mistakes and come back with a bang. BUT now is not the time to rush out a WW movie... Id rather no movie at all if they're not going to do this properly. They all affect one another because it's all tied to Justice League. That's the problem. But thats why i think WB are playing it smart. If they put out a WW movie before JLA and it bombs, it ****s up everything. Of course i could be wrong and they change their plans and do the movie first, but i dont think that's a good idea. Even if some of u want the movie earlier. No matter what with the right marketing, and not too many movies pre-JLA, the intrigue will be there and itll make a lot of money. THEN you do a WW movie, Batman , etc. If Wonder Woman isnt recieved well then you hold off on the solo film and re-cast. Make sure it's awesome.

Regardless, I think you're right, it won't derail the whole thing. As long as MoS(if they use it as the launch pad for a shared universe) and the batman reboot do well, a sub-par, yet solid (in its progression of moving the universe along) WW movie won't eff the whole concept up. Of course, they could just do away with the whole individual movie thing any way and make the team up without them (just an option)

No, Hulk didn't fail. It was a success in the studios eyes. And i hope you're talking about "Incredible Hulk" with Norton, otherwise the other one is not relevant. I personally wasn't a fan of the movie (Nortons), and it didnt do extroardinary numbers but it did better than they thought and was not a failure at all.

The only good thing about the pilot is that it vastly increased the amount of modern Wonder Woman footage available for Justice League fan trailers. It's not even that the pilot costume was good (it's not). It's just that people now have more than blatant Lynda Carter scenes, or two seconds of footage from some Mexican commercial. Really, that's the only good thing about the pilot as far as I'm concerned. |

The Incredible Hulk got modest box office for a summer release, decent critical reviews, and strong polling results from the mainstream audience ("A-" CinemaScore). It wasn't huge, but it was not a "failure" at all. At the very least, it did nothing to harm the Avengers/Marvel brand.
A Wonder Woman movie that sucks will pretty much kill Wonder Woman and other female superhero movies, while screwing up Justice League and DC in general. Green Lantern already flopped, they can't afford to drop the ball again. |

If I thought this way, I should've loved the crap out of Son of the Mask. The first left me wanting to see a sequel, and that was a sequel, after all.... never mind that anything and everything about the film was ****. But it was a SEQUEL! And that's what I wanted, right? Wrong.

No it performed better than the 2003 Hulk. And im one of those who agree it was a generic action film, but it also went over well with a lot of people.
