For me it's a toss up between Heimdall and Kurses', I can't wait to see Hogun and Odin's new costume as well.

They were like 12 feet tall and if most of the 9 realm's residents are 3x as dense as humans that would make them very heavy.

They were not 12 feet tall. That would make them twice as tall as Thor, and they were maybe a couple of feet taller then him, most likely less. How did he hit them in the face from a standing position if they were 12 feet tall?

Hey, I'm eager to see their looks as well, as well as the fact that I really REALLY want to see a good image of Zach/Fandral... I suggest an image search for Yao Ming. He is 7'6 and has a he has a few heads over guys 6'3 (Hemsworth's listed height). Those that Thor does battle with look to be about 2 feet taller them him at most. Even if they were three feet taller then him, and they really don't look it, that would make them 9 feet tall. They look about 8 feet tall.

Well Laufey was definitely a lot taller than the other characters. He's at least 9.5 feet tall.

Laufey maybe taller, but he is an exception to the rule. Those that attack Thor all stand next to each other and look the same height. They would be the standard, which is probably between 8 and 8 1/2 feet.

I'm late to the party, but in that Volstagg pic that's been going around: you can also clearly see Heimdall standing just off his shoulder.

I think that's just a generic Asgardian soldier. His helmet is identical to all the other soldiers plus he's using a round shield like the soldiers as well.

I wonder what Heimdell's armor will look like this time around.

I hope that with a more gritty design for their armors that the cinematography and action sequences reflect on that design as well.
