but honestly, to weather it. i would gently use a sander and mix in a tiny amount of darker gray paint as in like dip the tip of you finger in the top of the paint like enough to make a small layer of film and add it to the base of the sander so it paints as it wears. this is how i weather things but with all of the talenteed ppl in this forum. i would be nowhere near surprised or offended if someone has a much better way of weathering |

Hey guys, I have a pair of Costumebase bane pants in Large that I'm looking to sell. I bought them three weeks ago when everyone was saying that the Banepants pants weren't going to be restocked, so when they did end up restocking them I decided to get some. The costumebase pants are actually much better quality than I thought they'd be when I ordered them and I think besides the angle that the crotch zipper takes and the knee pads not having the vertical lines in them they are really quite spot on. They've never been worn, I just got them yesterday. I paid $108 for them off eBay, so I'd take $100USD and I'll cover the shipping (only within the US though, sorry). PM me if you're interested.

I wish I would've known about those emerson pants before I got my Crye Presicion pants I mean they look exactly the same except mine were a billion dollars more... They were way too damn expensive and they aren't even the Gen 1s... :/

i bought a pair of knockoff gen 1s. pretty terrible. i ended up only using the kneepads- dremeled the lines into them and painted them, then stitched them onto the pants i'm going to use. total spent: $40. i wish they were more accurate but times are tough and pants fit me weird.

Also LPjok3R, I'm not moving quite as fast as you, but here's what I got on my Bane mask so far. The clay cracked in some places, so I tried to fill it in as best I could, but I'm sure once it's painted and the tubes are installed it won't be a big deal...

So guys, the mask is actually complete. On this friday two friends and I will paint the town, entertain the people and watch TDKR again. You will see a lot of photos and also my whole costume. |

I would love to do the Blackgate speech at the large place before the town hall of our city with a megaphon, but the police would cancel the party, I fear.
![]() Also a man carrying a ghetto blaster with the epic soundtrack playing would be great. Imagine walking as Bane in his cool walk pose through the city with "Deshi Deshi Basara Basara" playing in the background. And then you facing the Batman, standing in the middle of the crowd. Epic, isn't it?

Would anyone here be interested in some custom made bane boots? I might not be able to complete my costume in time for Halloween and would like to see if anyone here would like to have them. I will take pics when I go to the leatherworker tomorrow. but they are custom worked desert tan army boots with the paratrooper straps and the single lace strap sewn on.
like these ![]() only I had them replace the canvas/mesh material with suede and add the straps. LMK |

I'm missing the mask and the coat. I can do without a coat but the mask is the most important piece so... I am asking around $200, just what I have into them, although the leatherworker hasn't gotten me the final total yet, but i would not expect it to be more than another 20 bucks. I would cover shipping. Last edited by Supermang; 09-12-2012 at 05:47 PM. |

I'm pretty interested pending final pics. I'm a 10 1/2 so it's close enough.

I know right around the premiere there were quite a few people posting pics wearing it so that's a good place to start. Its probably somewhere in the part 2 thread.

Hey Todd, Congrats on the mask! I am curious though about that jacket. Well first of all I guess is it a Banepants jacket? Also, how comfortable would you say it is? I'm thinking of getting one for general use lol :P
