Can I make a request regarding one of the deleted scenes? I think I saw them listed somewhere and there was one regarding Hawkeye and Loki conversing. I seem to remember somebody seeing it and saying it laid down some exposition regarding the mechanics of Loki's mind control or something similar. If it's not too much trouble, could someone briefly go over the contents of the scene or post a link to it? I'd be very interested in seeing it and very grateful.

I don't think it's one of the ones that's been officially released so even if links to it do exist they're 'bootleg' which I know is sometimes frowned upon posting here (not to mention whether or not the link actually stays up since Marvel/Disney tends to catch them and pull them down).

Here's a rundown of what happens in the scene/the dialogue:

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
We start off with Selvig talking about how the Tesseract has shown him "so much, it's more than knowledge, it's truth."

Loki: I know, it uh, it touches everyone differently. What did it show you Agent Barton?

Hawkeye: My next target.

Selvig (laughing): Stick in the mud, he's got no soul. No wonder you chose this, this tomb to work in!

Hawkeye: Well the Rattasin (?) doesn't have three levels of lead-lined flooring between SHIELD and that cube.

(Selvig kind of shrugs his shoulders and returns to work)

Loki: I see why Fury chose you to guard it.

(Loki & Hawkeye start walking away from the main work area)

Hawkeye: You're going to have to contend with him, sir. As long as he's in the air, I can't pin him down. He'll be putting together a team.

Loki: Are they a threat?

Hawkeye: To each other, more than likely. But if Fury can get them on track, and he might, it could throw some noise our way.

Loki: You admire Fury.

Hawkeye: He's got a clear line of sight.

Loki: Is that why you failed to kill him?

Hawkeye (stops walking): It might be. I was disoriented, and I'm not at my best with a gun.

Loki (turns back to face Hawkeye): I want to know everything you can tell me about this team of his. I would...test their metal. I'm weary of scuttling in shadow. I mean to rule this world, not burrow in it.

Hawkeye: It's a risk.

Loki (smiles): Oh yes.

Hawkeye: If you're set on making yourself known, it could be useful.

Loki: Tell me what you need.

(picks up where we see it in the film itself, Hawkeye walks over to a case and pulls out his bow)

Hawkeye: I need a distraction...and an eyeball.

That is very much appreciated. Thank you for going to the trouble of transcribing that for me. I can understand why that was cut as it keeps things relatively vague although there are a few nice lines of dialogue that define Hawkeye. I can see it being mostly redundant though.

The deleted scenes make me so happy. I really enjoyed this film, I wish all those had been in the theatrical release.

It made Fury and Hill seem a lot like Mal and Zoe from Firefly, also explained why Fury still had his job after defying the WSC. The scene with BW and Hawkeye battling made them so much more awesome, and would have been glorious with the CGI done. I just really enjoyed these things.

Yeah how stupid of me that I read a new article and remembered that a part of it pertains to a conversation I had a week ago.

Came up with an Idea for a Cartoon Strip based on the Avengers. You'll all love it.

This is the main "cast"

and how the Strip will look for the most part. YES, I'll be using some of the 3d Models I've already made.

Cool concept Vartha. But you should buy a few tennis balls and paint them up that way so that you can have some actual photographs to show. I think you might need a football (soccer ball) for Hulk though.

WHY? do all that when you can move the 3d models around in a scene and just add word balloons later? MUCH easier when the actual virtual model is already made, sort like using Action Figures the same way, but I'LL have some virtual backgrounds too.

Oh I'm sure CGI is easier, but I was just suggesting having practical models for if you wanted to shoot an actual photograph of them so we see real live versions like you would with action figures. I'm not suggesting to create practical versions to animate them.
