I'd like for them to keep the "teeth" on the front of his helmet as well, just kind of toned down.

Yeah, I think his helmet has to incorporate the teeth into it somehow, and also the big horns on the side too. I think it could look very cool if done right. Thor's new suit for this movie looks great, his best one yet, so that's got me thinking that Kurse will hopefully have a great design.

And yeah, how big do you guys think Kurse will be? I am hoping he will be a little bit bigger than MCU Hulk. Height wise

Anyway, a formidable opponent was one of the things I felt the first Thor film lacked. IMO, a hero is only as good as the villains he/she goes up against and lets face it, Loki and the Destroyer weren't all the tough. So if they can sell Thor on actually being the underdog in this upcoming film I think Ironman, Superman and Wolverine are all going to have a run for their money. (Quality wise at least)

I really hope they keep Simonson's character as close as they can in look tho. I mean the Casket looked AWESOME.

Same, literally, I would be fine if Kurse looked exactly how he did in the comics.

Believe it or not Thor was the underdog in his fight against Hulk, which proved to be a very formidable opponent.

Eh, largely because of his surroundings. Fighting inside the Helicarrier meant that Thor was restricted in both mobility and firepower. I suspect, if the battle were to take place in a nice, isolated rock quarry, it would have gone differently.

Given Circumstances, sure. But he was limited by the helicarrier, having allies, and Hulk being an Ally. But what I mean, based on what we saw Thor do in that fight, given the circumstances, what we saw him do with lightning, and what he did in the frost giant fight, personally I would say, in terms of HAVING to exert himself, Thor hasn't had a very formidable opponent yet.

I agree and I've even used those points in debates, but the fact of the matter is most people don't care about those things.

As far as the GA is concerned Thor fought Hulk with the best of his ability and they're definately didn't factor in the location.

Personally, I was expecting real heavy hitting moves like what Aquaman does at 2:09 of this vid. Especially when Hulk and Thor were fighting right by those jets:

I mean, Hulk couldn't at least have hurled an entire Jet at Thor? Just a wing was disappointing. The move that was truly awesome was when Thor sent the Hulk slamming into the jet with a Mjolnir strike. The fight needed more things like that.

Most people don't factor in the location simply because they were expecting more from a Hulk Vs Thor fight. Factoring in the location wouldn't feel like such a problem if these weren't movies where it'll probably be a while(If ever) until we see Thor fighting Hulk again. I wanted them to go all out, because that was a moment I was waiting on for years. If location was a factor then Thor should have taken Hulk out of the Helicarrier, to somewhere more isolated.

Yeah but that's Marvel for ya, ever since Stan Lee left they've always seemed to favor Hulk over Thor. It also was made pretty obvious in the trailers that Hulk was going to be potrayed in an "unstoppable" light.

Yeah I know. But I mean, most fans of the MCU sort of have an idea that Thor is THE guy. I mean, it seemed that way to me.

Which is why I am hoping Kurse will actually appear physically stronger than Hulk cause (1. Well he is) but 2, because, there are other characters out there physically stronger than Hulk, contrary to what some world breaker hulk fanatics seem to think (sorry, but Mangog from the Silver Age beats World Breaker to death) anyway. Yeah, there are other characters stronger than Hulk, and I am hoping that Thor 2 shows the strength and power of other creatures.

Plus, it will make it more clear that Thor is THE powerhouse of the MCU, defeating someone stronger than Hulk.

Given what I know about Kurse, he is going to have to be so physically overpowering Thor. Which is what I want to see. I hope Kurse gives Thor a good beating, to the point where it is relatively clear he is completely out matched, thus having to resort to his other powers. Showing what he is capable of.


And the other night I had a dream, MCU Kurse was in it. He looked awesome

Yeah, pretty much. But you know what, I have hope for the future. They'll wise up hopefully starting with Phase 2 when they see how much people actually like Thor.
