At the beginning of The Avengers after Loki first arrives and jumps up and kills the first Shield agent he then turns and throws one or two what appear to be darts. I wonder if that's the same thing he used to stab Thor with later. And what exactly is that that he uses on Thor, do we know? Has he used anything like that in the comics? I didn't know where exactly to ask this but I didn't want to start a whole thread.

It's a knife. It's like a belt buckle knife that fits IN the palm of your hand. Mostly in the states that type of knife is illegal because it's concealed in the belt

So yeah, I bought the UK DVD [what is basically a vanilla disk, for all intents and purposes] yesterday and the spear has indeed been edited out. Although Disney are blaming the BBFC it seems that the BBFC had nothing to do with it and were quite happy with the spear scene in that they passed the movie previously for the theatrical release. So the question is - just why did Disney take it upon themselves to censor that scene?

OKAY I found a screw up in the story. ERIK says to Hawkeye that he DID NOT know he needed Iridium to stablize the cube, YET later Tony says his notes did!
ALSO, I noticed what Thor left on earth too. He left with Loki and the Tesseract BUT left the Scepter behind. meaning SHIELD can still make the weapons, and Thanos would come looking for it later.

Maybe... to be fair to Tony, Hill doesn't ask him about when he became an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics until kind of well after he mentions what the Iridium could be used for -- instead she asks it after he talks about a high energy density power source to kick start the cube.

Given Stark's knowledge, it wouldn't surprise me if there wasn't anything in Selvig's notes regarding the Iridium but, after knowing the Iridium had been taken, was simply able to deduce/put 2+2 together.

Just my personal theory, however. If that makes sense.

I'm being a stickler lol I know what they really meant, they just didn't SAY that. Tony basically replies to Banners question like the need for Iridium was IN Erik's notes.
Gotta adimt tho, Tony acts like a Hyper active 10 year old lol NEVER a complete sentence, and doing 5 things at once. lol
