It's also worth noting that he posted that September 5th, when filming was taking place at Shepperton Studios. I'm starting to think the spaceship(s) may belong to the creatures w/ the guns....who just may be the Dark Elves

The spaceship crash landing into a palace sounds badass, it gives me hope that T:TDW is gonna be MASSIVE in scale.

I'm also glad they're keeping the sci-fi element from the THOR, in opinion Thor should be a blend of sci-fi AND fantasy.

By "God of War" I think he's referring Posiedon's design on God of War 2 and 3.

Pretty sure the guys with the gas-masky looking helmets that cover their whole face are the Dark Elves....those suits of armor very much resemble the ones Dark Elves wear, especially during the Simonson era.

But they're only one portion of the Marauder army. The Marauders are composed of creatures from all over the universe, obviously.

Why would he be the main villain when they don't even have an actor for him yet? Not to mention there's already Kurse and Malekith. Makes no sense that he would be the main baddie.. Especially with GOTU around the corner. Don't see how this can be taken as obvious confirmation either. Disregard if that was a joke, though.

Who said Thanos was the main villain? Not me.

I think it works this way: first part of the movie --- say, first third --- deals with Thanos and/or The Other getting "payback" from Loki. This involves Loki also getting tried for his war crimes by Odin as well. The Other shows up leading a force of Marauders to get Loki, as well as recover the Tesseract and/or The Gauntlet. The Marauder invasion force includes spaceships as well --- one of them crashes during the assault on the palace.

After that, the bulk of the movie turns to Malekith, Kurse, and Surtur. Dark Elves and fire demons.
