The trunks on Superman needed to go. I believe that'll that gain Superman a lot more support (outside of some here lol)

The Black trunks on a grey is good enough where the style still looks legit.

No, they don't.

In my opinion, the Batman costume looks better without trunks then the Superman costume. The Superman costume looks bare without the red trunks.

Im a true batman fan and I dont like the trunks, everyone has a right to their opinion. Do the trunks ruin me reading a batman comic? No not at all, but I dont care to see them in a live action film.

www.youtube.com/user/batinthesun

These are some live-action videos that have Batman in trunks. It doesn't look bad at all(I'm a big supporter of TDK look too)

These movies are actually really good, both in acting and costumes.

There are seven movies without the trunks. Cut the trunk-lovers some slack.

If they found a way to use them in live action that looked good I would be completely down with it, I just havent seen a design that I liked yet.

Agreed. It's not a huge deal to me either way, but given the choice, I prefer no trunks just like I prefer black/gray over bright blue & yellow on a costume designed for nighttime terror.

It's yet another ugly techno-suit, but with bug-eyes and a drab monochrome.

I don't see anything obviously techno about it. It's got some structure to it, if that's what you mean. I kinda like it.

Unsure about the trunks thing but as soon as I saw the City of Scars film, I changed my mind about the grey/black suit. I was dead against it initially, but am less so since watching the film.

I made this over a year ago. IMO this would be the perfect live action Batsuit.

Batman would be well protected without looking like a jigsaw. The suit would pretty much look black in dark environments. The cowl is perfect (obviously from Arkham City), the colors are proper, he looks like he could move around perfectly fine with it. This is not only comic accurate but it looks, by far, more realistic. So much for the "comic accurate look is too unrealistic" silliness.

I really like that concept, with a few modifications I think that could work perfectly.

No, they don't look stupid at all, And it's a stupid thing to say you're a "true" Bat-fan, and anyone who disagrees with you isn't.

My favorite suit is the Batman Begins version although Ill never understand why Nolan chose to dull the colors of the cowl/gloves and boots.

I would prefer a fabric armor mixture costume with protective armor underneath for the next incarnation. It would allow for a type of version seen above and could be cool visually - like when the suit rips and we see armor underneath.

So overdesigned (as usual) but there are some things I like about it. Its needs to be simplified, but I like the cowl cape and chest area... Make the cowl black and get rid of the outter ring of the insignia...
