Winstead in Smashed is all you need to see to verify any doubts about acting ability and her skill in performing this role. Regardless of whether or not you think she "looks the part".

Oh Jeez.... she would've made a FANTASTIC!! Mary Jane for ASM2. Agreed though that she's mega-talented. Heh, Lucas Lee and Ramona Flowers together again ![]() I would love Zemo. I just hate the thought of both gorgeous guys hiding their faces under masks or loads of makeup LOL! But Zemo would rock this world.

Agreed but she most defiantly is right choice for the role , I could totally buy her as the niece of Peggy Carter. The question is are they going to have her as a blonde like in the comics or are they going to leave her as a brunette like her aunt. If so then she is a prefect choice she even has a look that resembles Hayley Atwell.

Love Winstead, zero complaints. Make it so.
Sawyer or Jaimie Lannister? Tough call. They're both pretty cool. Wish we knew what role they're up for.

Based on the names being bandied around I would say Zemo and Crossbones.

I'd be okay with them, but I kind of wonder how they'll get WS to fit in with them.

Winstead kind of came out of left field a bit, but knowing Marvel, they have all sorts of people on their lists. I do question some of Latino Review's stuff because of how they've misreported stuff in the past.

Well Zola experiment on Bucky during his time in captivity before Rogers rescued him. Zemo could have been one of Red Skull's first lieutenants in HYDRA and he was tasked to retrieve valuable intel on the allies while at the same time planting a sub-program into bucky to become a sleeper agent.

I like that MEW is being looked because she's listed at 5'9" (not barely over 5'0"), looks the part of possibly being Peggy's relative and was previously considered for Maria Hill in The Avengers. Only thing I don't know is if she can do a convincing British accent.

Waldau in the MCU would be pretty great. I love me some Sawyer, but Waldau makes for a better villain, IMO.

I would bet that Waldau and Holloway are up for two different roles.
Or at least, if Waladau is up for Zemo, then Holloway isn't. |

Waldau is probably playing Aleksander Lukin.

What the heck does her height have to do with it?
Anyhoo, Winstead would be fine in the role. As would about a dozen other actresses. Not really worried about it. |

Meh.
I don't really think a dude possessed by the Red Skull fits what with the Red Skull disappearing into space 70 years ago Nor would I describe Lukin as a "very physical" part |

Yeah, it's a weird thing to worry about, but it still won't get as bad as the Tom Hardy thread on the TDKR board.
