I think she would've been better off as a villain for Spider-Woman.

Things that bug me:
1) Internet morons bug me alot. 2) Trolls. If people are going to troll at least be convincing. It's an art, not potty training. 3) Thread Hijackers. 4) Fashionable liberalism. 5) People who breath through their eyelids. Last edited by SoNicRaDiATioN; 07-15-2012 at 03:22 PM. |

Well the first three have to to with the Spider-Man forums (at times), the last two are jokes but may have something to do with the first three..

Spider-Man selling his marriage to the devil bugs me, as does the inherent blandness of Carlie Cooper, character derailment, clones and the ridiculous censorship of the 90s Spider-Man animated series.

When it comes to the 90s cartoon, all the stock footage is a major bug
Swinging scenes are ok, flipping inside Oscorp to get to a close window in Xavier's mansion or to hit Kingpin in his home is "WTF?" material

I guess Stan has told the creation of Spider-Man so many times that he makes up different stories to not sound repetitious with each interview.

Harry Osborn being alive again, how he was explained to still be alive, and just the general idea of him having been pegged as Peter's BFF for years...they were just roommies who became super-enemies...and now all media including the mainstream comics themselves have everyone believing they're Troy & Abed-level BFFs.
Just Harry Osborn in general.

Then we have Norman being an Avengers villain out of the blue. Indefensable.

For that matter, Norman's "O-face" as well.
![]() *As mentioned before, the very existence of the Ultimate Spider-Man show. I got a really bad headache after first watching the pilot. No joke *OMD/BND/OMIT and all that horrid mess. *All the love Carnage gets. One of the most one-dimensional, boring Spidey villains around. Even the Walrus had more character than him. *All the hate Ben Reilly gets. He's actually a very cool character tainted with the mess that was the 90's Clone Saga. *How Sandman's time as a hero was undone. I really enjoyed his character growth as a member of the Avengers. The whole plot with the split personalities or whatever was horrid, and it ruined much character development. *Mary-Jane portrayed as some bland, goody goody two-shoes love interest. MJ was always very lively and feisty, and almost all incarnations in other media screw this up badly. *Electro's stupid starfish mask. *The Lizard portrayed as a "mad scientist" villain. I prefer him being a mindless, but very vicious and powerful beast. Watching the newest movie reminded me how stupid the whole "Lizard separate persona" really is. *Ultimate Goblin in general. I'm not opposed to a character's revamping, but Bill Jemas's Goblin missed the whole point and appeal of the character entirely.

The massive popularity Venom has...although it seems to have been a 90s thing and I do think he is a cool character I think he/it has grown into a over-saturated character. Although it seems to have settled down in recent years.

What I see nowadays is that I'm among the very few Venom fans. I rarely see one, anymore.
From what I remember, the craze was much bigger before the third movie. As for the things that bug me, I'll say Gwen and Norman's case and the deal with Mephisto.

The deal with Mephisto is a big one for me. Lazy writing, and disrespectful to the fans. 'Nuff said.
Gwen and Norman is also a point of contention with me. The early cancellation of 'Spectacular Spider-man' will always hurt.

I don't know if I am the only one who hates spidey's suit shadows in real life this can not be done it's like his skin is painted red-n-blue, actually this I like/don't like thing, cuz I actually like his eye pieces move according to his expressions, but again this is so unreal... So, this are two of the things that bug... I mean "arachnid" me

What bugs me is the fact that the comics felt the need to give Spider-Man biological web shooters after the first movie. It was a plot point several times in the comics where Peter ran out of webbing at a very bad time. Hell's bells, it was such an factor they even had to work it into the second movie. Oh yeah, how they did that was stupid too. Peter loses his web and wall crawling powers because he doesn't want to be Spider-Man but not the rest of his powers? Umm, shouldn't it be an all or nothing thing? Just saying...

Honestly,I would love to see the character kinda start over, with Eddie getting the symbiote again. And I know alot of people say that Venom really hasn't done anything tragic in Spidey's life(I do agree),so...I want to see him return(as Eddie)and do something that would shake up the Marvel world. Like maybe kill Mary Jane or something like that.
