A bombardment? So far it's just Jean for who knows how long..
Viper is a part of the comic book storyline.

She's going to be in, most likely, one throw away scene...who cares. Hopefully it sets her up for DOFP.
I personally think they should return Jean to do the brown/auburn hair she had X1 because Famke looks so much younger and better with that hair color. I've seen her in multiple things since X3 and she looks much better with dark hair. Just give her some flattering lighting and she'll be fine (as long as she's not playing a 20-something Jean lol). |

Really? I think she looks her worst in X1.. Bad hair/wardrobe/make up.
She looks flawless in X2.

She looks best In X2.They did good job making her appear to be redhed far more than
In X-men.In the last stand her hair looked too fake. |

I did think she looked more like Jean Grey in X1. At times the hair was okay in X3 too.

In my case, its just a personal preference. I dont like x-men appearing in his movies. I only see it as a way by Fox to try to attract more x-men fans to the theatre to see Wolverine movies. They clearly did it with XO. This time, we dont know yet, but my feelings about XO large cameos wont dissapear ever.

I'm excited for the idea of Jean cameo in the film, but for what purpose? A possible led in to DOFP or X-Men 4?

Wolverine going into the tank should have been his last scene in Origins. That way, these flashbacks would have been his first memories.

I agree.Singer's flashbacks In X2 are far superior to all of Origins.

You'll notice I never said Famke looked younger in X1, I just said she looks younger with dark hair in general. Comparing movies filmed around the same time, she looks much younger in the films where she has dark hair. Just my opinion. Also, Famke could do with eating a sandwich (or 10)! |

Oh I'll love to see more Jean/Logan. I hope it works out. I don't really see how it works out continuity wise but I'm sure someone will think of something. It would be interesting to see how Jean responds to Mariko. I don't think the Logan/Jean/Cyclops love triangle was established in the comics until after he returns from Japan.

James Mangold's new comments says Famke Janssen's cameo will be in dream or hallunciation of wolverine's.

Where does he say Jean Grey is in a dream or hallucination sequence?

Everyone is hoping its a return to set up days of future past, but fox isnt marvel studios and don't plan out things like that, so chances are its going to be wolverines nightmares and guilt about killing her, its a wolverine story remember its about him

It's post Last Stand.Jean Is dead. Thus using logic It means Famke's cameo has to be dream or hallunication.

Unless...timelines are getting re-framed due to nebulous near-future events...and Logan walks down a busy street at the end of the movie and thinks he sees Jean in the crowd...but she disappears as quickly as she appeared. Roll credits. Played ambiguously, this ending is left to audience interpretation, and even if it never develops into anything else, it works as a sign that Wolverine's immortality will always haunt him...(see Mangold's comments?)
Mangold's clearly not commenting on recent rumors of Famke/Jean involvement... ...but he is...if you get my drift. Similar to his earlier timeline hints... Confirming Jean Grey is gone only cements for readers to expect her to remain gone...until she's not. This should all be very familiar to you Bat-fans...

It makes sense that Logan would need to find some solitude after the events of THE LAST STAND.
I'm curious what this means in terms of seeing characters like Yuriko...and how that will affect continuity.

about the same as bone claws in this film linking it to XMEN origins but then hasn't First class already ignored that?
