I certainly hope to see marsden back as Cyclops.
I'd love to see Nightcrawler back as well.It never sat well with me that they just dropped him with no mention. |

I wasn't happy with Singer's SR nor the way he left the X-Men franchise, but after thinking it through I think this is probably the best possible outcome after Vaughn had left the sequel. I hope it will turn out to be as great as what X3 could have been if Singer had never left in the first place.

not to burst anyones bubble but its a first class sequel so will be mostly about them so i don't think they will have all the mutants from the original trilogy in this, id be suprised if they have more then 2 or 3 at the most

Great news, would have loved Vaughn to stick around but if he wasn't, then Singer is a great choice. I'll be looking forward to another Singer directed X-Men film. Here's hoping he knocks it out of the park.

pass before this Is made so there Is more distance between this and SyFY version.Singer wants to do a more action packed version of galactica closer to original series than reimaged version. This would be his space opera(Like his own Star Wars) like Jack The Giant Slayer Is his fantasy epic(His own Lord of the rings type) Days of future past will be huge with him directing. |

i would be suprised after all you gotta give the first class cast the main billing and then everyone is expecting nearly everyone from the original trilogy also

Full steam ahead. Just please don't for the love of god feel the need to bring every single person back from X3. Now, proceed!
Ignore X3 if you want tbh

Their Is question mark rather Bryan would want any actors not from films he was Involved
In(X-men,X2,First Class) In Days of future past. That could rule out any actor used In The Last Stand but not In his films. |

interesting point yeah.
Id love for this to be the highest x-men movie to date, so Bryan could give us the best action of the WHOLE franchise. not only for future scenes, but for 60's action too

Between getting rid of Alan Horn, who helped aquire Lucasfilm, and losing Bryan Singer back to Fox, I'm thinking WB is having a bad day.

How did WB "lose" Bryan Singer? He's a director, not a studio puppet.

Between the two casts and the scale of this film, I wouldn't be surprised if Singer has more than $175 million to work with.

I know that WB was really hoping to be in the Bryan Singer business.

Is that why they prevented him from directing First Class?

Yes. WB could have pursued legal action if he'd dropped out of "Jack and the Giant Slayer". I'm assuming that between Superman Returns, Trick 'r Treat and the very long production on Jack the Giant Slayer, that relationship has considerably cooled.

Great news - he wasn't only the obvious choice to replace Vaughn, but the best choice...

i just hope and pray bryan somehow can create some continuity fixing scenes because x men orgins really hurt and screwed up the continuity and tarnished the image of the trilogy.
so i say have the entire cast - including the kelsey grammer version of beast as well as cyclops and jean grey and professor x alive and even alan cumming as night crawler, ray park as toad and sabertooth cameos too, in an alternate sentinel future as freedom fighters. wolveine dies in the future like in the comic. ellen page travels back in time she convinces young xavier to find wolverine in the past and they get the bone claws wolverine we say in the cameo from first class to help out in the final battle. maybe they can reintroduce jason and william stryker and in the end when everyone goes their separate ways xavier takes on jason stryker as a student, bone claws wolverine signs on with stryker, and ellen page returns to the future. |

I honestly hope he takes the same approach he took with Superman: tie it to the first two movies and ignore all the crap that came after.

Zack Stentz @MuseZack Really excited to see Bryan Singer returning to the X-Men captain's chair. Working on story with him on First Class was a creative joy.
