Glad to see her too. I was also never a big fan, but this past summer I picked up Claremont's Masterworks of the series and it really sold me on the character.

Can we just brutally kill the Hellfire brats off please. I have no problem with reduced membership and the way the club is functioning and truthfully the tech kid is ok but princess and the other two who's name I cannot even remember are doing my head in big time!!!!

Whedon's Astonishing is still the best the X-Men have been in the past 10 years for me.

The tech kid seems to have brains and skills that rival Amadeus Cho. That alone is enough for me to be completely uninterested in him. Little tired of 7 year olds being naturally on a par with Reed Richards - Cho was the exception

I'm so not a fan of Angel's costume. But at least I like the direction his character is going in.

That costume is old as heck. My favorite costume of his was his barbarian look a few years ago:

so..WHO is this Angel exactly, since Warren is dead...and um..who is running Worthington Industries? (someone from the X should shape shift and take it over, they could use the funding)

I hated it from the second Remender had him reborn as this amnesiac angel.

I thought it was an interesting concept and loved what Remendeder did with him, but he really should have just left to go find himself and forge his own identity away from the Xmen. He's just picked up where the old Warren left off as a hero, just with no memories. I thought it would have been cool had he dissappeared for a year and come back with a new name, new personality and treated like a brand new character. As it stands, hes in this weird limbo kind of stage

Yeah, thought they were gonna have him go away for awhile until he completed his self discovery.
In a way I wished they left him dead or waited a bit longer to bring him back, it lost a bit of the weight from his death scene with Betsy when he was reborn so quick. Went with the theme of the book well, but seemed a bit soon. Curious to see where the book takes him.

Is all of this taking place pre UXF with Evan being kidnapped? Seems they are taking awhile to get to that.

Yeah, it's odd Aaron's still got him at the school. I'm psyched to see Kid Gladiator though.

I wish Nick Bradshaw was the artist on this comic ALL the time. I like the comic and the story and the characters, his art is what got me buying it more regularly.

This book really needs to get back on track. I praised the work Aaron was doing at the beginning, but now it's kind of a chore. Frankenstein circus? C'mon.

Agreed. This book had a good balance between the teachers and students but it seems more or less a teen book and the plotlines are silly. With Utopia and the west coast team over, this seems more and more irrelevant especially with most of the senior X-men featured elsehwere such as All New X-men and the X-force titles

I am still enjoying this....maybe too much. I don't know if I would say its "off track"....fighting Frankenstien fits in with Brood pregnant Kitty, Hellfire kids, Logan in a wheelchair, intergalatic games....right?
