I did about 24 years ago when i was 7 reading and collecting Batman comics including collecting Catwoman (especially the 4-issue mature readers mini-series), Robin and Nightwing comics as i fell in love with her. Then i watched reruns of the classic 60's show when i was 8 a month before Burton's 89 movie was released in theaters and i had a huge crush on Julie Newmar and Lee Meriwether,
.Then when i saw Batman Returns in theaters seeing Michelle Pfefier's version and watching Batman TAS i thought she was hotter than ever but brunette still wins. It was Wonder-Woman, Supergirl, BlackCat, Batgirl and her with some others that were my boyhood comic character crushes. |

I will admit to a Catwoman crush. I was 9 years old when Batman 89 came out and that's when I started getting into Batman and his supporting cast. The 1960's show was on all the time and I developed a crush on Julie Newmar! A lot of times fashion and what is 'sexy' changes over time but still to this day I think Julie Newmar is smoking hot in that show. Same with Lee Meriwether in the movie.

What do you think of Michelle Pfefier TFK? And who else hated that ugly sinead O'Conner manly looking hooker version that Frank Miller gave us? i do, ever since i was in junior high when i bought that amazing graphic novel "Year One" i thought it killed it for me to see her nearly bald and not attractive. |

That wasn't the REAL CATWOMAN, that was catwoman in name only, we don't talk about that.

Yes I agree. Of all of the females in Batman, I had a legitimate crush on Poison Ivy. Something was just so sick and wrong about her, but just so right at the same time.. lol

Well the real Catwoman is Selina Kyle but Halle was fine despite she wasn't Kyle.
But what did everyone think of my friend's tribute to her? does the music match her? |

Back in the 60's, when I was a kid, I had a crush on Julie Newmar BEFORE she was Catwoman when she starred in a sit-com where she played a sexy robot (Living Doll, IIRC). When she got the role as CW, that only served to reinforce my already established crush.

Well they way they've drawn, dress and cast her was and is all deliberate to give you a woody or make you wet. So a crush you ask? I'd say it's more of an arousal!

Catwoman helped me grow up -- from Returns, Adrianne Barbeau's voice in the animated series, the Jim Balent comics (even Frank Miller's version from Year One). Yup, Catwoman and not ashamed one bit.
I was also in love with Babs Gordon as Batgirl and even more so after she became Oracle. Now there's a redhead to kill for. |

But even as a child? Before hormones kicked in? I'm sure I'm not the only one who was introduced to the character at that age. I'd call it a crush. |
