Skyfall vs. TDKR

Hate to say it, but for me, Skyfall beats this movie wholeheartedly.

Only one more week and I will know if it does or not.

Doubt it would, imo, because TDKR was even better than the Avengers, so I'd have to say Skyfall would have to move me a whole lot more than TDKR.

I've seen Skyfall and it is a terrific movie. I definitely enjoyed it more than TDKR, and I'm a bigger Batman fan than I am a Bond fan.

One area I think TDKR trumps Skyfall in was a strong leading lady. Hathaway's Selina was much better than Naomi Gaines and Bérénice Marlohe's characters.

Man...there must be a vocal minority that really enjoyed Quantum of Solace. I hear so much bashing but I really loved it.

QOS doesn't deserve the bad rep it's got, IMO. Sure it fall short compared to Casino Royale, but it's still a good movie. Not even a contender for worst Bond movie.

Casino Royale is one of my favorite films, ever. Not Bond film, just film. QoS wasn't as bad to me as it was, seemingly, to everybody else, so I'm just as excited for Skyfall as I was for TDKR. Super excited!

Haven't seen Skyfall yet, but yeah, Harris and Marlohe combined don't beat one HathCat.

But batfans will definitely enjoy the movie. It has some eerie similarities to TDK.

It'll be interesting to see whether I prefer Skyfall or TDKR since to date I've never really cared that much for Bond films, even when they are really, really good. There's a lot of quite frankly bad action movies I prefer to all the Bonds I've seen.

Quite ironically I thought it was good (considering I just said I tend to be kind of 'meh' on anything Bond), I just thought it deviated so much from the formula I could see why it alienated people so. This Skyfall seems more in line with what people expect from a Bond film.

How can you say one is better than the other, one is batman and the other is bond? How does a movie "beat" another movie about a different character with a different story line, different goals, villians etc?
