Well to be honest I think it's pretty obvious that the character that Bruce shares the deepest connection with isn't even a female, or Alfred, it's The Joker.

I mean just look how The Joker delivered these two lines to Bruce/Batman

"You complete me"
"I think you and I are destined to do this forever"

I'm telling you, that's deep connection right there. Nuff said!

The title post says "female". If anything goes, the deepest connection is between Bruce and Alfred.

Well Joker did send Brucie into 8 years or retirement and depression. Oh yeah. He's the one that destroyed white knight Dent and killed his beloved Rachel.
