Her baby started crying before he could film any more takes.

Something I'm sure was said earlier but I just laughed now reenacting it myself. I think Bale's delivery was perfectly done, it's just funny to me.
When Batman is being held up by Bane with one hand (holy crap by the way), and Batman goes "You were excommunicated...by a gang...of psychopaths." It was like Batman was being a smartass in that moment and telling him to go f*** himself. ![]() And I also laughed at how the word "fingahprinzzz" was used again by Batman in the movie. Classic delivery considering I used to always randomly say that after TDK came out, "You gonna order pizza?" "No... Fingahprinzzz."

Is there a thread like this for TDK? A lot of this is hilarious!
Though I will concede that after a while into the thread some people seemed to just be putting anything down (like "the way Bruce stood when he said that one word was kinda funny I guess"). Also some of these (most notably Bane's "lovely voice" line before grabbing a detonator to blow up the city) are black comedy, not necessarily intended to get a huge laugh, but allowing it for those who can find the humor in them. The character doesn't have to be making a joke for it to be a joke. |

Where Robin finds an unobtained whole where he can talk to his fellow cops and then the LOS find him and throws a frag down the whole and says close it up. I laughed pretty hard at that in the theaters.

Totally forgot about that line, has he said where he got motivation from to create the voice?

Bruce carefully slide-kicks a gun away from the goon/Selina when she beats up the goons holding him and Lucius.

Really? I don't remember this. I'm assuming this is during the "Get me back into the game" scene, right?

Batman was all comedy in that city hall scene. That growly rant at Bane was too funny.

Also, Gordon climbs out of the bomb truck and the first thing he does is yell for Selina, in Catwoman garb, to give him a hand. Like it ain't no thang, he's worked with Batman, so this lady in a black skintight outfit and mask is totally normal too. Even if it's the first time he's actually set eyes on her.

J0k3r has a good point. Any sane person would have pinched the Batpod and skipped town with it, not park next to a truck with a fusion bomb set to go off in 2 minutes.

When Bruce went to climb out of prison, and he misses his mark. He's dangling on the rope, swinging in the air with a funny D'OH! look on his face, like he just lost a game on The Price is Right. It sounded like the other prisoners were cheering for him to win and then he didn't, they were all AWWWW!

Most of this stuff is really pushing it ("lol remember when Christopher Judge threw a grenade down the manhole and killed some cops? I'm so glad I was wearing my tight Catsuit because my sides were splitting!") but just after Batman destroys the turret on one of Bane's tumblers and the battle begins, it cuts to Gordon signalling the guys with the Greyhound bus and the way he yells 'GET READY!' in that high pitched voice always made me chuckle a little bit

Too too too too too many unintended LOL moments in this movie
#1 Talia's expiry - obviously. What the hell was that? But for me the bigest LMAOROFLLLL moment for me - is one of the biggest subplots - The crane kick. When Bruce's near fatal spinal injury which most probably severed the spinal cord thus leading to permanent paralysis is cured by .... wait for it .... A judo kick. Yes, my friends. A judo kick. Just the one. In the back. . . . oh yeah. And the next minute Bruce is doing push ups. The man wasn't ready to fight Bane when he had a perfect back - and now he's somehow miraculously prepared to this time BEAT Bane - having survived in a prison pit being fed only drops of water and stale bread. Yeahhh... ok Nolan. |

The worst case of humor done wrong was Bruce's "Alfred?" immediately after Alfred leaves him.
The fact that you have one of the most emotionally moving scenes in the trilogy and then play it for laughs in the very next scene really kills the power the Alfred/Bruce confrontation has. It's the kind of shoddy editing that makes the ending of Phantom Menace a mess. I'm quite baffled why Nolan chose to structure it the way he did. |
