I'm so ashamed. I finally saw the trailer for this today. Had no idea there was a movie. It's funny, I just watched a couple episodes a few weeks back. The episodes with Shishio and his men defined Kenshin for me, personally.

I didn't read the manga (yet I have the volums stacked), and all I saw from the anime is the ova series 1 & 2, based on what this movie resembles in the flashback scenes from OVA2 it is a faithful adaption
Manga readers probably know the plot or story to the sequel, so based on that I'll avoid spoiling the story and not read the manga, at least not beyond the first arc I loved the movie, I'm probably biased cause I love Samurai stories, and this is one I could enjoy, based on that I give it an 'A' after my first view
