A good point, but we don't know his motivations yet and last we saw of Ollie on the island he wasn't exactly Green Arrow material yet. I think we might have to see how things progress on the island to make a better judgement on that.

Well, he met with Moira after he realized Arrow was going after people on the list and seemed concerned about it. Then once it was revealed Oliver was Arrow, Barrowman sent a hitman to kill him. I'd assume he's on the list.

My point being that knowing about it and being on it are two different things (his mother know, but we've yet to see any indication from Ollie if she is). Also, sending people to kill Ollie once it's revealed he is Green Arrow doesn't necessarily go against what has happened on the island... at least not yet.

Though I should say that I'm not particularly stuck on the idea of Barrowman as Deathstroke, I'm just speculating. Does anyone have any other ideas as to who he may be?

Deathstroke's role in the episode was OK, I was expecting a bit more though. Like you know, him speaking and having a bigger part.

I do admit, he was pretty cool looking and menacing. The fight scene between Yao Fei was well done and awesome.

Seeing how a stuntman with like 3 acting credits played Deathstroke, we will probably get a real actor to portray him later on. For some reason, I think Christopher Meloni will be a good fit for Slade Wilson. He is buff, but a bit young for Slade Wilson. Chris is 51.

But overall, I'm looking forward to more Deathstroke. We know something happens to him on the island. I would love to see Deathstroke in the season finale, kidnapping Tommy and having a battle with Arrow.

Christopher Meloni is a good suggestion. I wouldn't mind seeing him play Deathstroke. As for age, I'd rather have Meloni than the guy who played him in Smallville.

Meloni would be awesome, but I think he's playing the General in Man of Steel. Audiences might get confused.

One idea I have is they can give him a beard or a moustache. Slade Wilson did have a beard in the comics

This part though I'm not sure about:

Because Oliver was fighting Deathstroke, so would be team up with him later on? I guess we'll have to see what happens, but awesome casting news.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Deathstroke story, but personally I do hope that he is unmasked, say at the end of the first series. He has to be alive, he just has to be! I think he has the most potential, and with a decent back-story, they can really pull it off.

Same here. But then I remembered we've got a fairly young Ollie who just started out as Arrow. So I think it makes sense that Deathstroke isn't that much older either.

You want a Deathstroke that has been through some things and seen stuff. I think 35-45 is perfect for him, especially if Ollie is what 27/28 give or take a few.

After reading some interviews and seeing some clips of Crixius in Spartacus, I can safely say I'm excited for Manu Bennett as Deathstroke. I think he will do a great job. On an another note, I wonder how Deathstroke's voice will be.

He seems like a good fit for me. I don't think his age is an issue. He looks tough and can play it a bit older.

However, I'm keen to see this possible 'uneasy alliance' between Deathstroke and Green Arrow. Maybe they're trying to keep it close to the comics since Deathstroke isn't always necessarily the villain.
