I really think we're gonna get the John Byrne Clark Kent in Man of Steel. Just based on everything we've seen so far. Take the way he's walking into the Daily Planet building in the Comic-Con trailer. He's walking with a confident stride with tight-fitting clothing. Same for even those birds eye set pics seen on the last few pages here. I have no problem with this. It's just it's gonna be hard to differentiate that Clark from Superman.

I don't know how many times I've heard normal folk say the Clark Kent disguise is ridiculous cause he's just wearing glasses. And I'm hoping it's not one of those things we suspend our disbelief for in the film. I'm hoping Cavill does change up his mannerisms and acting when being Clark.

The only humour I want to see in the film is the dry humour from BB. Which is why it's a good thing Goyer wrote the film

The 'passing around the weaponized hallucinagens' line cracks me up every time

I'm all for a serious Superman film. The earlier films were way too goofy in Metropolis.

Agree that we are getting John Byrnes Clark for the reasons you stated.Of course that wld mean that Clarks disguise will not be explained with the stupid "he wears glasses and acts differently." excuse.Especially since this is a Realistic Superman.I expect that MOS will give some Scifi reason as to why no one recongnizes the fact Clark and Superman have the same face.And I much prefer that.

With things like Krypton, super fights between Superman and Zod/Faora, a robot army, and black zero present in this film, unless Snyder and Co. ended up short changing us in the degree that the people behind "Thor" did with the New Mexico thing, then I can't really see on how this film wouldn't have at least cost 200 million to make.

I keep hearing 2 different budgets for the film. I hear 175 and then 225 million.

Wasn't 175 a rumored SR sequel budget??

Well, regardless, I doubt MOS will only cost 175 (I think 3D conversion is also part of the budget) but I guess it could. But I wouldn't expect a great deal out of the Metropolis destroying robot army in that case.

Anyway, tomorrow will be exactly 7 months until MOS's release. Would be nice to get some news, few stills maybe. GL got the trailer on that day, least MOS could get is another Superman photo...I'll even take a photo of Martha Kent sitting on the porch!

On another note, this seems to have been our phases so far when it comes to the production of this film's schedule:

1. AUGUST 2011: Does he have the Red Underwear debate term

2. SEPTEMBER 2011-OCTOBER 2011: OMG I LOVE/HATE the New Updated Look term

3. EARLY JULY 2012: OMG, MOS is going to be EPIC after seeing the bootleg Comic Con Trailer Term.

4. LATE JULY 2012: I feel so whelmed by the official teaser term

5. AUGUST 2012 to NOW: WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET SOMETHING NEW Term

IGN is doing a poll about the best trailers of the year. MOS is on the list, which is slightly unfair since it's just a short and early teaser. But with mostly anonymous shots it's got a pretty decent placement IMO. Then imagine where the full trailer would place it.
