Best :War Machine, Gladiator (if your name is Gladiator you are automatically a bad Mother&^%ing dude!) Iron Fist, TaskMaster( you just know somebody with that name is going to work the hell outta you!!) DareDevil, Beast,( like damn man! that guy's a Beast!!!)Colossus, Black Bolt!

Worst : *if your super cool superhero name is your own &^% name.dont your know ID thieves can steal you ID like that!...like Jean grey, Kitty pryde, Hank Pym, Jubilee.. then you are probably going to suck! Oh and anything Death or Dead! Dead pool ( is that like a non living billiard game!) Deathbird, Deathstrike, you are probably going to suck too!

* that rule doesnt apply to Dr. Samson and Dr, Strange cause they went to medical school and getting your doctorate makes you cool!

Jean Grey's codename is Phoenix, even when she's not the Phoenix. Kitty Pryde's is Shadowcat. Hank Pym is Giant Man (again). These are technically still their codenames, but most people refer to them by their real names because they've all gone through several codenames in the past and they probably share those names with other superheroes.

Maaaaaan Manic come on! most of time after Jean ( came back after whatever time it was ) they only call her by her name And Kitty changed her name so many times ( cause stupid marvel didnt like sprite, ariel or Shadowcat!"they finally said screw it we will call her Kitty!" just like golitah, yellow jacket ant- man etc! That sucks! what good in having a cool ass name and not using it! it's like "PETER MIX ME A FAST BALL SPECIAL!!" Bleahhhh!

Most of the X-Men go by their real names when they talk to each other. Whenever someone talks to Beast, they just call him Hank or Henry. That doesn't mean Beast isn't his codename anymore. Jean started using Phoenix as her codename way back in the 90's, but you'd hardly notice because everybody in the X-Men is on a first name basis.

Well, except for Rogue and Forge. Nobody calls Rogue Anna, and Forge has never revealed his real name.

Forge knows his past and his childhood, so I doubt it's amnesia. He just doesn't seem to have told anyone. Forge's real name isn't so much a mystery as it is something nobody has ever bothered with.

I think it's funny that I think the name Luke Cage is awesome and badass, but the name Power Man, which he thankfully no longer uses, sucks, and sounds like a character I made up in 4th grade (actually that is a name I used for a character without knowing about Cage using it in the past).

As stupid as it sounds, Strong Guy is slightly too clever a name to be the worst. For one, the character was being sarcastic when he came up with his codename, so it's kinda funny how he's stuck with it. For another thing, Strong Guy's real name is Guido; Guy is a short form of Guido, so his codename is a pun on his real name. You know, like Shadowcat.
