Loving the Malekith vs Thor pics!

It has me stoked to see all this in the theaters in a few months. It looks like it's going to be a pretty badass fight, might vs. magic and I predict Thor might be on the losing end of that fight considering his inexperience in magic.

I understand what your saying, but then again I guess I can't see how not closing down a portal to Ragnarok wouldn't feel like the climax of the movie, much in the same way it did with destroying the Chitari mothership and closing the portal in Avengers. I mean with Malekith battling Thor the scale seems more one on one despite Malekith's minions, and more in the scope of what Thor can handle by himself, but if Surtur was to be a direct threat to earth I just think that would be on a whole other scale of danger, making the closing of that portal the primary focus.

That is how I see it at least.

Of course, the Artificial Sun probably has no relationship to a portal to Muspelheim anyways making my comments most likely a moot point. Oh, and by the way I am also not against the idea of them continuing to use portals for travel between realms. As a matter of fact in the future I hope they will expand the portals to include other dimensions like Olympus as well. Anyways, thats talk for another time.

Yeah, my guess is those pics are just rehearsal pics and it's wrapped probably to protect it from the rain/water...most likely removed before the cameras actually start rolling
