Funny thing about gas companies raising prices...it just means more people will buy electric cars (just read an article that sales for electric cars are rising with gas prices)

So in a way...gas prices raising is a good thing because it pushes society to evolve.

Lets say Obama or Romney win (which is a step closer to a monetary collapse)...how bad off is California? They can't budget anything...

I see hybrids doing better, but until they can make an electric car that can get me to Houston from Dallas, without having to switch over to gas, I won't buy it...lol

California is screwed no matter who becomes President....they voted in the wrong person for Governor, which was just one step they have taken towards disaster...

BTW, filled up yesterday $3.33/gallon

...dropped all the way down to $3.18 a gallon. It's amazing what an election can do to gas prices.

...and it's jumped back up to $3.39 a gallon. I guess that hurricane that is no where near the refineries is the latest excuse.

Must be nice. Gas in my area of NC hasn't been below $3 in years. Its back up to $3.39 where I'm at.

One thing that hurts us is NC's ridiculous gas taxes.

I just love how gas prices drop right before election then go soaring back up afterwards. Gas prices should be set once a month. Tired of this fluctuating from day to day screwing with my budget.

...what ticks me off is a 30 cent jump in one day out of the blue. You go to work, school, or what have you in the morning only to come back by the same station in the evening and the price has skyrocketed.

Yeah, its total BS, and yet we dont do anything about it. Some organized riots against the swindling price gouging oil fat cats has been long overdue.

Do you want to hear something scary?

Prices in my area have been as high as $1.35 lately...but that is per liter.

There are 3.7854118 liters in a gallon...so multiplying that by $1.35 and you have a whopping $5.10 per gallon...
