The Campaign. Not really terrible, but just not very funny.

Saw bits and pieces of that one, but for some reason I have it in black & white. Is it black & white?

A zombie film with wrestlers. Seriously, it looked like a "home movie" from the 90s.

Were you expecting more Pinhead?

Yes. I really wasn't expecting Frank and Julia to be the killers. How are the sequels? I have them on Netflix and thought about giving them a shot.

2nd and 3rd one are good, 4 has a decline in story but there's good things in it. 6 is okay. Forget the rest.

Hellraiser II is far and away the best sequel, but Pinhead's screen time and role is essentially the same as in the original. Pinhead is only the main villain in Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth and Hellraiser IV: Bloodline, but they aren't very good IMO. Hellraiser III is very campy and joky and is more like a slasher flick, while Bloodline was butchered by the studio, resulting in the director taking his name off the movie which was replaced by the dreaded "Alan Smithee" credit.

Do you think you would have enjoyed Hellraiser if not for the popular misconception that Pinhead is the Freddy Kruger of the Hellraiser franchise?

I like Hellraiser II more than the first, mostly because I dig the horror/fantasy part of it.

I couldn't have said it better.

I'm glad Pinhead wasn't in the first two films a lot, sometimes you can have too much of a good thing. It made his appearances more impactful.

I probably would have. I've always thought through the years that Pinhead was like Freddy, Jason, Chucky and Michael Myers. Someone that goes on a killing rampage. I'll give Hellraiser 2 a shot sometime this week.
