It could, but it would be lacking. A lead-up film for all but Batman would be ideal.

I guess.

Seems like we are ruling out this movie being LOTR length lol.

^ I would love that. The Justice League's big screen debute should be an epic, just like LOTR! Btw, I'm okay with the new 52 line-up or even just the big five( but then I would want Wally and Jon).

I don't want this, but it'll most likely happen.

IMHO they should focus on Superman, WW, Aquaman, Green Lantern and the Flash.Batman should be used sparringly. Why? Because he works best in gthe shadows and alone. He's also had films that focus on him, so this movie really needs to focus on establishing and building up the other characters.

And I wish more of these films would use the LOTR template. I've been saying this forever. One franchise that really could benefit from this approach is X-Men. Give us a 2 part film with the second a year after the first.

If I was an executive in the right position, I'd go for something like this: (pretending they got their **** together after 2011's GL)

The Man of Steel (2013)
The Amazonian Princess, or something like that? Or should they just go with Wonder Woman? (winter 2014)
The Scarlet Speedster/Lightning or just Flash/The Flash? (spring 2015)
Green Lantern reboot or indirect sequel (The Emerald Guardian/The Green Guardian/The Emerald Crusader?) (winter 2015)
Justice League (Spring/Summer 2016)
Batman: Gotham's Crusader, The Caped Crusader (spring 2017)

I think it would be best if the movies are named after the superhero names so people will see the film and not think its some random film.

My line up would be: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Martian Manhunter and lastly either Hawkman or Aquaman. The Seventh member for me is a tricky one because it could be nearly anyone.

How is Wonder Woman the "token girl" when she's apart of the Big 3/Trinity?

Because she's the only female in the original lineup..?

But I think we mostly agree on the first movie lineup, shall we discuss sequels? My top picks are Aquaman and MM if they aren't in the first one followed by Green Arrow, Black Canary, Atom, Steel, and Plastic Man (for the lulz)

When you use the word "token" you're implying that she's there to fill up some sort of quota, when she's the top 3 most important and well known Justice League member.

I'd rather a smaller League, like Supes/Bats/WW/GL/Flash over a seven-member league. More time for character development, more money for each character's effects, etc. MM and Aquaman can't be tacked on the way Hawkeye and Black Widow could be; they're inherently much more expensive and require much more backstory.

Yessss. It's true that Aquaman & Martian Manhunter can be quite expensive. They're very mysterious and supernatural, they need an expensive backstory. Which might never happen but if it does, you cant exactly half-ass it by treating them like Hawkeye/Widow. They're not just assassins for hire that's it.

My ideal line up would be:
Supes
Bats
Wondy
GL (Hal Jordan)
Flash (Wally West)
Aquaman
J'onn

But I know Wally wont happen so Flash in general would be fine. I dont think 7 is too much at all, but please no Cyborg

I second no Cyborg, that's one lineup I most certainly do not want to see - Cyborg as #7. I have no problem with the character, but just not for Justice League. And I know they'll make him into something he's not if included in a live action Justice League film. If they must have seven members but don't want Aquaman or MM, characters like Hawkman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, or even the Atom would do just fine in their places. But we can probably count on Green Arrow not showing up either a) thanks to the TV show and b) Hawkeye

Was it ever said why DC is deciding to push Cyborg so much after the new 52?

'Cuz he's black. DC is trying to promote their minority characters.
