so I can backup my PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game saves. I found this one and I want to get the 1 Terabyte Model on Black Friday. I plan on using a Backup External HDD to backup my PS3 and 360 game saves, and backup my iTunes Music Library. Is it possible to save all three things on one HDD? If so, is this a good HDD to do it with? Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm not sure if you can save all 3 things at once but I've used that drive before and it always worked well for me.

Drive has pretty good reviews on newegg and others, so I'd say pull the trigger on it. The only thing that bothers me is the price. How much is the 1TB going to be on BF?

There should be a good few 1TB drives around $50 on Black Friday. They had some 3TB ones at about $100 a couple days ago at Amazon.

As far as I'm aware, to make PS3 saves, the HDD has to be formatted to FAT32. Dunno if you're aware of that too, but if not, that's something to know. So with that in mind, if you wanted to make any other kinds of saves on there, the file sizes won't be able to exceed 4GB or so.

If the above is correct, then just format two partitions, one FAT32 and the other NTFS. The NTFS partition will not have the 4Gb file limit.

Would probably want a bigger disk capacity then I'd say, to give each partition a fair amount of data storage.
