I was just thinking..IF this new trilogy is a huge sucess with critics AND fans then would some of you forget&ignore the prequel films even more?,I personally love ALL SW films including the prequels But I know a HUGE part of the SW fanbase loaths them with such passion.

IF people love this new trilogy then people can easily use the original trilogy's theatrical cuts and this sequels as their personal collection oftrue SW films,OR collect the whole saga But put much more focus&love on the original&sequel trilogys.

I love the whole saga and the new trilogy already has much more better writers&producers than the prequels and so I already can't wait for episode VII to be released and then add it to the SW collection!

I want to know who the new characters are really. The director is only one part. Actors and Characters make Star Wars great and great effects. Not that I don't hope for a capible Ships Captain.
I am just more wanting to know Cast and Characters.

It's still relatively early days since it's a 2015. I suspect we might start hearing whispers about the cast around March/April.

For me, Star Wars is all six movies + the upcoming stuff, so i would never forget or ignore them. Other people cna do as they please though, i'm not concerned lol

I really want Neill Blomkamp for director. His Halo and District 9 stuff makes me think he'll bring back the "old future" feeling. Matthew Vaughn seems to be the director though

They're saying that EpIII 3d was just moved up a week, and that both III and II are coming next year. Did I imagine that they where gonna do a 3D movie a year? Or does anyone else remember this being announced as a plan?

They changed that plan, they probably want to release all films before the sequel trilogy

Hiring Kasdan means one thing: the death of Han Solo. Both he and Ford wanted to kill off the character in ROTJ.

Not necessarily. Kasdan could had a change of heart or Disney could say no; though I wouldn't be surprised if Han croaks. The death of one of the most popular characters could be really powerful.

Kasdan is great news, especially as a producer. I'd rather he and Kinberg did Eps8-9 together and not for each to get one installment, but with Kasdan also producing maybe he'll keep Kinberg on a leash?
