That was a figure of speech and yes I know she won one ( she can tanks the director/writer for that by the way ) but I didn't saw an Oscar winner in the movies I quoted.

Honestly, don't you think Talia's death was baddly acted ? It was a scoobidoo death : arglargl I am dieing.

Once again, I'm not contesting what you think of her. You asked what Hollywood saw in her, and I answered. They saw an Oscar winner, and were impressed by her performance, regardless of whether you see it or not.

I always thought it was awkward that Gordon knew exactly where to throw the flare anyways. I couldn't see any notes left on the ground from Batman saying "Drop flare here for awesome signal I had time to make during city's occupation".

I thought she was fantastic in Inception. Here she is good but that death was hilaruously bad

She's fantastic in Inception , and i also liked her work in Rises (outside of her death , and Nolan is also very responsible for that). Most of her dialogue carries great weight.

Her english doesn't sound very strong , phonetically she might have some problems...but she works that in her performances.

She's a fantastic actress and fantastic in everything I've seen her in. She did good work here but as soon as she took on the villain role she got way too over the top. A lot of that, I hate to say, is due to the script. But yes, there really is no excuse for how hillariously awful her death scene was.

I assume he noticed that an area of the ground was really soaked in gasoline(and could smell it).

While Gordon falling out of the truck was meant to be funny. I found it more funny because it goes back to the first movie when he was in the tumbler(RIP). Also I just found it hilarious that everyone else is getting killed and shot up and fine and at the party. I kinda wonder if he asked wtf happened with Miranda.

Banes "I am the league of shadows" line is just so funny because of the way he delivers. I think Hardy was just fooling around because it was so different from everything else.

Okay, I don't know if this is intentionally funny or not, but when Batman says to Talia "I guess your knife was too slow". That face she makes is f***ing hilarious to me.

Her English was fine, she just had an accent.

Plus it works strongly for the character, given that Tate's accent was Marion's natural one (French), and that Ra's used the alter ego (or were they the real names and the Ra's and Talia al Ghul names are just titles?) Henri Ducard, which is a French name. Also, someone had made the connection before that "Tate" sounds an awful lot like "tête", the French word for "head"... Which is what "Ra's" means.

I didn't find this funny on my first viewing or anything but rewatching it I guess my mind was in the gutter or something When Batman's telling Selina in the end "I need you on the ground. I'll be in the air." Pretty kinky stuff methinks.

Her icy, stony (perhaps seething with rage) faces remind me of some of her comic book looks.

That has to be one of the worst exchanges ever.

I can't remember Talia's death scene (Only saw it once) But I don't remember finding it all that funny. Maybe there was something I missed.

As another poster said, Batman's "light it up" made me crack a smile.

Bane's "Of Course!" in the prologue was almost intentionally funny. Seriously, you can't make something that bad by accident.

Talia's death scene (not her death as much as the situation and the shot of Bats, Cat and Gordon just standing there) and some goofy stuff in the fights where people just drop for no reason.

But that's just nitpicks from an overall brilliant movie.

Oh and except her death scene I loved Marion as evil psycho Talia. Thought she was great and the scene when she pulls the knife on Batman is one of my many favorites.

In the background behind Bane, you can see some pretty bad fight choreography. People not landing punches, others falling to the ground like professional wrestlers
