In terms of trophies, it's along the same lines as Revelations, a lot of doable, yet some time consuming, single player trophies, and a few easy multiplayer trophies. The game is just so packed that it took me almost 45 hours to do everything, which I like because it gave me a reason to keep going. I'd say this was definitely a step up from at least the last two, and probably just a bit better than ACII overall.

Haha, I've been dying for a new game to play and platinum. I've literally run out of games to get trophies in, unless I try to finish the challenge maps in both Arkham games, or the multiplayer in GTA IV and RDR. I still need to get the platinum in ACB, but that's a game I never see myself going back to.

I'm really ticked off by how I just need the multiplayer trophies for Need For Speed:Most Wanted, but can't get them because it keeps telling my my Origin ID is in use by another account. I've looked online and saw some people who had similar issues, but the only solution for now is to contact EA and from what I've heard, they haven't been helpful at all.

I think my nephew might have used my account since its his game and I just borrowed it, but the fact that you can't even cancel an account or anything really upsets me because there's no way for me to get those trophies on my PSN account. Hopefully when I go to his house later I can see if I can change his account.

I've contacted EA for help with this kind of thing before and they were pretty useless. The guys trying to help didn't really seem to have the full power to do so.

Yeah, it really baffles me because I also borrowed Hot Pursuit from my nephew and I can still sign in to that no problem. But for some reason, I can't with Most Wanted, and it didn't even give me a chance to log-in. And when I check my EA profile online, it shows progress was already made in the game before I even played it.

I wouldn't mind creating a second account, but like I said, it locks me out just by saying I previously logged in with a different account. I even used my nephew's online pass and I can't even play that because I can't get access to the online stuff.

The EA Origin crap is also what led to all my Mass Effect 3 data being reset to zero and counters not updating making some achievements almost unachievable even if I started from scratch. It's a well known & widespread problem on the Bioware forums & EA are aware of it but they don't fix things. Create, charge, charge for online pass, disconnect server, forget about, move onto next chargable opportunity. Quite a good business plan they've got going!

I'm facing a similar issue. I just need one more trophy for PES 2013 to get the platinum, but it's an online trophy and I need a better modem to be able to get it. I won't buy a new modem so soon just for a new trophy.

I hate online achievements. They should just stop with that.

Yeah, anytime I have a problem with a game, there is usually some way to fix it or get around it, but from the looks of it, there doesn't seem to be anything that EA is willing to do to fix the issue. I even heard a lot of people who tried to get help were told that the problem was on their end and that they should contact their ISP instead.

I have one more single player trophy to get and I don't even feel like playing it anymore because it would be pointless. I would be much more upset if I paid for the game and was locked out of the online features, and would probably take more action against EA because this has really lessened my playing experience and enjoyment of the game.

I agree. I don't mind the way most games are adding online features to add to the replayability, but I hate it when they force you to spend hours playing against people who are more skilled than you. I'm okay with the ones that reward you for at least trying one of the modes online like the Uncharted ones, but I don't like feeling like i'm being forced to play through it for hours when I'm not even enjoying it.

This is why I don't care about maxing out sports & driving games made by EA, 2K and a few other companies any more. Most seem to have online achievments/trophies, online passes, early server shutdowns & minimal support when there is an online issue. I just do what's available and don't care about the rest.

Another eg, on PGA Tour 11 there was an achievement to participate in a tournament that wasn't available. The EA guys acknowledged the problem in their forums and still failed to put up a tournament before the servers were permanently shut lol. At least they got a good bit of abuse for it from everyone who was involved!

Ok, so I reached level 12 some time ago. Then I got nearly 200 trophies (probably a little more), including 3 or 4 platinums and I'm STILL on level 12.

I guess it'll be much harder to level up from this point on, isn't it?

Congrats! I was going to say 3000 sounds like a crazy number until I looked and saw that I have a little less than 2400 trophies. I guess after a while they just start to pile up.

Yeah, I never try to platinum sports games because they seem impossible at first, if not, they require you to get trophies before the next game comes out and the servers shut down. That was the case for me with NBA 2K11. The server were down by the time I got it and I couldn't get those trophies.

Madden 11, however, gave me no problem because there were no online trophies and everything could be accomplished within the game.

Yeah, I just hit level 17 after being stuck on 16 for a while. I could've swore I platinumed like 2 games and still didn't go over even though I was at about 90%.

Ah that's cool on Madden; I though they all had online stuff. If it weren't for this kind of thing you could completely relax about what order you play games in. Well actually I do anyway, **** those companies. It's clear profiteering by deception (rather than through making a good product). Microsoft (Sony probably do but I'm not 100% sure) provide servers for all games that want to use them & also the peer to peer system can be used to extend longevity indefinitely if for some reason a company feels compelled to use their own ****** servers & close them early. So there's no excuse for it except to make last year's product (probably heavily advertised to have online play) redundant & try and force people to trade up.

Yeah, I look at other franchises like Assassi's Creed and Uncharted that still have their servers up for the multiplayer in their past games. They may not have high numbers like before, but people are still playing those despite having newer versions.

And man, this is really confusing me, which is making me more upset because I don't know what the problem is. I just went to my nephew's house to see what profile the game was reading on his, and it appears as though our accounts were merged. I updated my account online, which showed progress before I played the game, and when I looked at his game, it was exactly the same, except for the name. At this point, I'm thinking of finishing the last trophy and then contacting EA to let me in with a new account. I doubt they will, but I don't want to have to play the whole single player game just for that last trophy.

But it's funny how much trouble I'll go through for something that doesn't really mean anything. LOL

Just to follow up on my situation, I contacted EA's support today and they confirmed that the accounts are indeed linked, and that I need to call a specialist tomorrow to unlink them.

I still don't understand how/why they are linked since we have our own accounts in Hot Pursuit.

Got my 53rd with Sniper Elite V2. That was a pretty enjoyable one, in a pretty sick & twisted way almost.

If anyone knows the slow-mo X-Ray cams from the new Mortal Kombat, imagine that in a game dedicated to sniper kills. So many "Ohhhhhh!" moments. There's even an X-Ray shot of a bullet through the guy's.... coin purse.

I too just picked up my first in a while. I got the Platinum for Splinter Cell HD and am looking forward to getting the other ones from the trilogy this week. Still love these games even after all of these years.

Hey Spidey, did you hear about NBA 2K12 servers going down ....on 1 Nov 2012! Got to be the worst one yet, especially when they gave no notice. I think you can still play matches but there a load of trophies no longer attainable.

Next trophy is PS All Stars BR. I thought you had to complete all of one character's challenges for a trophy, but I was wrong on that. Once I gave up on that, it was pretty easy

Playing ME3 again so hopefully the insanity run will help make that mine next

Kudos on going back to ME3. I've got another playthrough & 1/2 left on the first Mass Effect to finish it, then I'm gonna replay ME2 (even though I already 100%'d it) for the story, then restart ME3 and eventually go for that platinum. I'm all OD'd on ME right now but I don't mind. The games are awesome.

My timeline is all messed up though for me with the trilogy.

For me it's looking like ME2 (100%) -> 1/4 of ME3 -> ME1 -> ME2 (replay with imported char.) -> ME3 (restart with imported char.)

Finally finished up on the Splinter Cell trilogy. I kinda hate Pandora Tomorrow at this point, but I really love Chaos Theory. These have given me 38 in total now.

Next up should be Walking Dead. I played the first two chapters when they were free on PSN, and I really enjoyed it, especially because of the easy trophies. Can't wait to see how that story ends.

I actually don't have 2k12. I have 2K11 and found out a year ago that I could get the platinum because the servers were down. I still want to get 2K13 though, which shouldn't expire until later this year.

Yeah I only own ME2, so that's the only one I've gotten the platinum in so far. I rented ME3 and got halfway there, but at this point, I'm thinking of doing a full trilogy playthrough, so I'm waiting until I get the bundle to start that.
