I met Barack Obama.

Back when he was a Community activist in the Chi. I was walking down the street, then I turned a corner, and a guy hits me right in the chest. I go down, and when I look up, it was Barack Obama. He was like, "oh s**t,I'm sorry man! I thought you was somebody else."

These mother^^%%s had a comic too!?!?! okay! i will admit it i kinda like the original MMPR when it 1st came out. it had that hokey Japanese big rubber monster look that i liked as a kid! with it's stereotypical "the black guy was the black ranger,"" Asian girl was the yellow ranger", but after that the warm fuzziness wore off!countless "turbo", "Samurai whatchma call it's" i cant believe that show is still on! Boo that!

I'll be dead honest on the Power Rangers. I never saw the appeal of them or the show, therefore, never liked them.

I thought Marvel did the comics, but apparently Hamilton did them first... unless they were some sort of offshoot... Google doesn't seem to think so though.

Yeah, Power Rangers... I was absolutely OBSESSED with them when I was a kid. Funny how so many nerds wanted to be Power rangers when they grew up, and ended up being more like Bulk and Skull... It's a hard knock life.

Power Rangers ? Never saw the appeal, And can't understand why such a $h**tty show still manages to thrive after all these years. One of the producers had to have sold their soul for that garbage to remain relevant.

Y'all must be young to not understand the appeal of them. As a kid in the 90's the appeal was pretty simple....

When you're 10 years old seeing this that's all you need. It's pretty stupid looking back at it now, but that's pretty much any kid stuff.

I was 14 when the show debuted back in 92. First thing I thought " Man, they're ripping off Voltron !! "

lol Yeah you were old enough to think that. I saw Voltron before Power Rangers, but I was 7 at the time so I was down with robots and morphin time.

Yep, I think it's supposed to be like a kind of Leaugue of Extraordianry Gentlemen style book about his post-Sherlock Holmes adventures.
