I'm new to all things Ant-Man so what are some good suggested readings? How is "Ant-Man: Season One"? I see it's available in the Marvel store and I'm thinking about picking it up since it looks like a good starting point.

I haven't read 'season one' but Marvel recently released a pretty good TPB called 'The Many Faces of Henry Pym', which includes his origin story as Ant-Man and various other issues taking you through his various alter egos (Goliath, Yellowjacket etc) and close to present day. So if you want an introduction to Pym it's not a bad buy.
The Essential collections are also good cheap ways to get introduced to characters, if you don't mind reading them in black & white. So you could try and get hold of 'Essential Astonishing Ant-Man Volume 1', just to warn you though he faces off with some pretty crappy villains in it! |

ANT-MAN & THE WASP, which was written & drawn by Tim Seely, was a three issue mini series that came out in 2010-2011. Featured a team-up between the Eric O'Grady version of Ant-Man and Hank Pym when he was briefly going by "the Wasp" in memory of his dead ex-wife. It was pretty good and shouldn't be hard to find.
Naturally, THE IRREDEEMABLE ANT-MAN by Robert Kirkman is also pretty good, introduces the new Ant-Man, Eric O'Grady.

I don't remember where it was, the Avengers, Marvel Triple Feature, ....something. But there was a story that was about Hank and his ant friend 'Nash' (the ones named Crosby and Stills were already deceased). Nash was one of the ants that was a step or so above average ant intelligence, and Hank actually became friends with him. It was a cool story.

Anyone looking forward to Ant-man's role in the upcoming Marvel NOW FF series?

I also recommend Avengers #161, for anyone who thinks Ant-Man's powers are "dumb", or "useless"...

Ant-Man season One isn't that good. Avengers Origins which is great Avengers 161 is great issue when Pym takes on the Avengers single handedly and holds his own.
