I didn't catch it until the third time I saw the film. Notice that when Peter pulls the spider web on his neck off, and dangles the Spider, you hear a buzz sound, like its flowing with electricity.

Four words: Third Party Amazon Store.
![]() But I get where you're coming from - I would have prefered it if Peter had snagged one or two of those cartridges and studied them to make his own formula, but him buying them isn't an issue for me. He's a smart and resourceful guy - I imagine he wouldn't have bought them directly from Oscorp and would have gone through some risk-prevention channels (ie having a dummy paypal account funded by a refillable VISA gift card, shipments sent to a PO Box, etc). It's not that hard to order things online anonymously, and I'm very surprised that people are so quick to think that Peter would be so stupid in that regard. He's all about keeping his identity a secret, he wouldn't just mindlessly order things in his name like that.

I saw the film 4 times at cinemas, and not once did I notice that during the Final Swing, Spidey's spider sense goes off as he's falling from the crane in slow motion.
After he falls in slo-mo, you can hear his Spider sense go off, just before he swings into the gap. Some fanboy theories I've read say that the spider sense goes off when he's falling in slo-mo with the bridge in shot - it's supposedy the bridge where Gwen Stacy dies. I think some people are over-reaching there, but I just wanted to point out the spider sense LOL

though I'm sure they'll show Peter creating the stuff himself in TASM 2, and probably trying to make it even better

Which got me thinking about The Spectacular Spider-Man. When Dr. Connors is trying to perfect the lizard regeneration formula, Electro accidentally zapped it, which is very likely to work as the catalyst. In later episodes, Miles Warren says that the formula needs electricity to make it work. So coming back to The Amazing Spider-Man, who's to say that the spider that got zapped wasn't the one that actually bit Peter? They did say Richard Parker developed the spiders, so who's to say that there wasn't something inside them that needed that catalyst to make it work? Just a thought, nothing to wreck your brains over lol

I don't have a problem with the legal question at all, that's just looking too much into it.
The problem I have is simply that it would have been so much better to have him create the web on his own like in the comics. It feels kinda ironic when we finally get the webshooters instead of organic webbing and he still doesn't create the web himself. |

And it's still organic webbing if you think about it.

Haha yeah. But he doesnt grow a pair of conveniently placed web shooters that shoot ridiculously long lengths, so it is a little different.

You know what I just noticed while watching The Amazing Spider Man. When Gwen invites Peter over for dinner at her apartment, she almost forgets to tell him her address. She says it's 2016. At this rate, the third Spider Man film will come out in 2016 where, I assume, she's gonna meet her fate. I just found that interesting and I don't know if anyone else noticed that. I also love that Shailene Woodley was cast as Mary Jane Watson and I'm hoping that Sam Claflin will be cast as Harry Osborn. We all know that the after credits scene was Norman Osborn (Michael Masse) and I sense he's gonna be a big threat. Jamie Foxx's casting came way out of left field for me, but I'm cool with him as Max Dillon/Electro.

So they will come to the conclusion that Peter Parker is Spider-man?

Why do people even care about that? Oscorp has no evidence that it's their webbing he's using.

Spider-Man just leaves the webbing around, one would think that in a realistic world someone would collect a sample from the web to study

The conclusion doesn't have to be made. No one needs to ask everyone who bought the biocable if they're Spider-Man, but the fact that Spider-Man, this vigilante that the NYPD were once after, is using OsCorp's biocable to swing from building the building. Quote:

It's like Reese commenting to Fox about the Tumbler pancaking cop cars on the evening news, or the Wayne Enterprises guys working on a Bat at the end of Rises telling Fox the autopilot was fixed. People out there in company land pick up that Batman has been using Wayne Tech.

In the comics, the webs dissipate after 60 minutes.

They can definitely know it's Peter Parker, but it's smarter for OsCorp to just have NYPD know that this vigilante is stealing their biocable to use without revealing that Parker is Spider-Man.

What became of all the people that Spider-Man didn't save in their vehicles that were just left dangling by a spiderweb on the bridge? Eventually the webs would deteroriate & they would just fall in the water.
How strong is Andrew's Spider-Man compared to Tobey's Spider-Man? They didn't go into any great detail explaining Spider-Man's strength or other powers in this one compared to the original.

Its funny how there was no cameras visible or otherwise in the protected room that held the genetically altered spiders to begin with, if all it took was for a simple bite from just one of those spiders then Oscorp could have an army of Spider-Men at their disposal.

Or even better security to realize that they were escorting the wrong kid when Peter took that security card of someone else. Or security that would run into that spider room since it was disrupted.

I'm not sure about the strength comparison. We have Tobey's Spider-Man holding back that big wall at the end of SM2 when the reactor is going haywire. We don't have anything like that with Garfield yet, but he does seem quick and agile.

Andrews Spidey held that car up with one strand of web. As well as going toe to toe with The Lizard.
