Sinister was pretty solid. Compared to other horror films that's usually lackluster or terrible, that film is practically a gem.

Nice to see he got more work.

LEOG did mention on their latest podcast that Cyrus's dad did pass away about a week ago. He should be coming back in a few weeks.

Didn't know your dislike for him was on that level. I mean I dislike Cyrus but I still love him and what the rest of the Crew give us.

I don't dislike Carlyle, just his taste in movies. He'd always be the one defending crappy Michael Bay flicks. He also had a bad habit of talking over others.

He was also the only one to defend the "Day the Earth Stood Still" remake because his friend directed it. Same friend that worked with him on "Sinister" and upcoming "Deus Ex"

Doesnt really help his credibility as a movie critic if he's easy on films made by people he's friends with. Most critics would get torn to pieces for that.

I love LEON as a person but his reviews are so 'against the grain' that I dub him the 'wild card' reviewer; he's not as bad as Caryle though where it's baffling. Though it's interesting to hear a different perspective on things and he can bring up good points, if all else.

I like Caryle and I'm very happy for his success but I knew he was not truly invested into Spill anymore, especially right before he left. Well, that's not fair to say, so let me backtrack: He was still invested but intuitively I knew he had too many things going on at one time and he probably should have left Spill much earlier than he did.

But it's nice to see him come back on when he can.
