If i remember correctly the police had it inside a glass, maybe there was something there to keep it fresh.

I have been enjoying the Death of the Family arc so far. It has not reached the level of quality the hype has been promoting--groundbreaking-- but it is early. I enjoyed the Suicide Squad and Catwoman tie-ins.

Got to reading the current issue of Batwoman tonight, I have to say that I absolutely hate this arc now.

Yeah, considering that last arc was kinda underwhelming (though still good) and this one being total crap, Batwoman is seriously being considered for the chopping block if the next arc doesn't pick up.

I'm absolutely loving it right now. The Batwoman comic book is the one DC comic that I get excited for each month and my favourite comic from either DC or from Marvel right now

I've loved this arc and loved how Kate's been written in it and I cannot wait to see what happens next

The issue focusing on Maggie Sawyer next month sounds fab and I'm really excited to see Kate and Wonder Woman against Medusa and her monsters for the fate of Gotham

This be the best comic book of the month for me

Williams needs to take How to Do Layouts 101. You can have a great story with great characters, but when the layouts make it completely unreadable just for the sake of being avant-guarde, it just completely ruins it.

I have to disagree there hippie hunter...the art/panel layouts in this arc have been one of the things I've been really digging

Sorry to hear you haven't been keen on them and its hampered your enjoyment of the story

It'll be a different artist on the next arc and so presumably a different style with the panel layouts maybe that will be more to your liking

But the thing is that Williams knows how to do coherent panels. The first arc in Batwoman did it great. Williams' work with Rucka on the character was perfect. So I just can't fathom as to why Williams decided to make this arc such an excessively wordy unreadable mess.

Snyder's biggest flaw is not that he wanst to write a definitive Joker story, instead of focusing on writing a solid story. It's that his writing lacks subtlety. Do we know Bruce consider Alfred a father figure? yes. Do we need him to tell that to dick? no. And that's just an example among others. he's trying to humanize the character, but he does it without subtlety, by telling things we already know.

I thought the most recent issue was alright but I really hope they're not really going to kill or blind Alfred in this arc

the death of the family issues have been alright indeed, but nothing groundbreaking. Joker is threatening, but I don't think him caring about the secret identities is interesting. I always loved how he didn't give a damn about the man under the mask. Granted, he was willing to unmask batsy in his golden age appearances, but most of the time, he doesn't care. I liked for instance how he threatened Rupert Thorne in Englehart's run, because he didn't want Batman's identity to be known. or how he didn't care at all in RIP.

Joker is not like the others. He's not a common criminal, he's not a thieve. He's a lunatic. On the other hand, I do like how he thinks he's helping Batsy, and how he challenges the batfamily. So I kinda hate and love the premise at the same time. But mostly, I think the execution is average.

I loved every page of Inc. I honestly can't wait to see the end, now that we're so close after so long.
