I'd be really happy if Sam Witwer was cast

Witwer was one of the best things about Smallville season 8( which until Lana came back and the weak finale, 8 was one of the best seasons) so I would be totally of board with him as Bruce. He clearly has the looks and talent to pull it off.

I'm also glad that someone else agreed with me about Mcgrath as Wonder Woman. Not too keen on Glyhenhall as Barry but its not a bad idea, just my personal opinion. If he was cast, I wouldn't have a single issue with it. Again, he is talented, and that's whats most important when it comes to casting these roles.

Witwer looks like a metrosexual from Jersey Shore.

But he is a decent actor for TV.

That being said, Batman deserves better... especially after Bale. Ideally someone with some type of film resume. Batman is going to be the lead character in JL inevitably. There's no way WB would plan otherwise considering Batman is the only proven money maker of the team.

They need a solid, respectable actor. Witwer's resume is mediocre.

Personally I think Bale was merely decent as Batman nothing extraodinary.Dont really see Witwers metrosexual look.As for Witwer having a mediocre resume so those Cavill and hes playing Superman-the reason is that he can play the part irrespective of a mediocre resume.

Also whilst Batman is the only proven money maker,Superman looks set to change that.
Also JL shld not have a lead character-it should have lead characters-The Justice league.This is so as to enable spinoffs

Cavill had Showtime's The Tudors, which is far more respectable than the Tween dramas that Witwer does.

Cavill also had the lead in Immortals and supporting roles in a bunch of other features including a Woody Allen film.


Whatever you think of Bale, the WORLD right now has Bale in mind as THE Batman to top. He's universally accepted in the role.

And there's no way Superman will come anywhere close to the box office of TDK and TDKR... no way. Superman will be lucky if it breaks 250 domestic and makes enough to warrant a sequel.

TDK and TDKR made a billion WW each. Batman is the star of JL.

The Witwer/Cavill comparison is in no way fair to Cavill. He's much more accomplished than that.

LOL, they do look a bit alike, which is why both were actually cast as Superman at different points in time. I'll never understand how a talent-free zone like Routh was the one to emerge with the role first when they had two much better actors who looked enough like the character already vying for the role. Oh, well. At least they got it right this time, in what will hopefully be a better movie anyway.

I still want Rhys Wakefield as Aquaman.Remember that this film won't come out until 2015, perhaps even later. And then there are possible solo spin-offs. The actor who gets to play the king of the seas could be stuck with the role for several years, and he (the actor) will get older along the way. Cast as young as possible for every member of the league (sorry, Bettany!). This also includes Wonder Woman.

Part of the draw of avengers was how well the people we all recognized were at playing these heroes like Downey Jr, Sam Jackson, Scarlett, and jeremy Renner. Hemsworth even had star trek. And of course Chris evans was interesting because we had seen him as another hero before. I say of my previous selctions a couple fit this mold Chris Pine -- Steve Howey ---- Rhona Mitra ----- Joe maganiello I also see Green Lantern being more powerful played by Djimon Hounsu or Idris Elba.... or maybe anton yelchin as flash?

IDK, Geoff Stults isn't a bad idea for Hal and Megan and Armie were Diana and Bruce. Besides, Armie Hammer has proven to be a solid actor. While Cavill is already Superman, if he wasn't Cudmore, based on looks and height just like Phoenixflight said, could work. Plus I'm glad more people are joining the Hedlund for Flash club. I wouldn't be disappointed with that cast at all. Besides at least a Armie Hammer Batman will be Bruce Wayne which is better than the rumor that JGL will reprise his role as John Blake/new Batman in the JL film.
