I hope that after the events of X3, Beast goes to prison (for something Mystique incriminates him for), and mutant protesters allow the creation of the sentinels, therefore the past X-Men must prevent X3 from happening, and future X-men must prevent the ending of X2 by sending a message to Jean in X2 to not get out of the freaking jet.

Yeah the Beast in prison storyline from the show was cool. And then Magneto is to break him out and he refuses to go.
