Ultimate Comics Spider-Man 16.1 speculation and spoilers...
It's Peter in the symbiote. We never saw his corpse after the point when he expired. Seeing as how it was made as a healing suit initially Fury stuck his body in it and it happened to get away. It also makes more sense than Eddie Brock killing Betty to protect Spider-Man's identity.

if true and the suit has somehow healed Peter and he's alive, you know what this means... and what I'M hoping for...

usually look forward to my monthly subscription coming through but last month ucs 16 bored me to death. has miles really run out of story already. Must admit i did get distracted by the spidermen mini series but am currently struggling to like miles anymore.

I think the problem with Ultimate right now is they are trying to shoehorn this universe-wide martial law story into the book, instead of working on developing Miles' little world. The reason Ultimate Pete worked so well is because he didn't have the other books bogging him down during the start of his run.

I dont know what it is but every time i start seeing avengers spider woman and all the other universe characters appearing in the books i tend to loose interest in Spiderman. You are absolutely right peter parker is dead and may appear in cameo roles as in spidermen and i fully understand why spiderman has changed into Miles but i wish he would be treated as the loner and made the odd appearance rather than the whole marvel universe thing being shoved in every title. it does not work for me or interest me one jot.

However I must admit the last ish of SM was pretty damn good and funny
