I gave up. The scares became so far and few, and more so wandering around the woods and such I gave up for a while. I get its not supposed to be straight forward, but shows like Lost weren't straight forward either but kept the audience interested. Marble Hornets just doesn't do that.

Thats why I stopped, I lost interest but due to the popularity again and watching Markipliers let's plays of the many slender and other horror games on youtube I have the urge to watch them again.

I'm a diehard Everyman Hybrid fanboy. Unfortunately it is a bit convoluted. I think one of the most menacing Slendermans I've seen is in Caught Not Sleeping. Look it up on Youtube. Slend's first appearance reminded me of the Nemesis from Resident Evil 3.
