New characters you want to see in the First Class sequel?

New villain: Mister Sinister that sets up Apocalypse in the third film

Probably over ambitious but couldn't mind that or the Acolytes.

Proteus could also be interesting with the entire future jumping.

People are likely to be disappointed.Magneto and Brotherhood will almost certinly be ones
committing the assassination.And Time Traveler will be most likely a character already
seen In the films.

Sunfire and Polaris were my top 2 choices when First Class was still newly released and we didn't have any idea whats the sequel is going to be like. I wanted Polaris because I want her to be Havok's love interest and Sunfire as a new member of the 60s X-Men.

But when the news about Days of Future Past happening came, I thought its impossible for them to introduce Sunfire/Polaris because in the comics, I don't think they have history with time-travelling. So I don't see them being in the movie.

Comic book accuracy has never prevented anyone from adapting a story they wanted to tell, especially in the X-Men franchise, so I don't see why that would suddenly be a problem.

yeah, a new x-man/girl could be already in the school, since the very beggining.

I dont know what Bryan has in store, but that's definetly one of all the possibilities.

If Bryan doesnt introduce a new mutant on this sequel, I really hope the next one will give us Polaris and Sunfire. They are my most anticipated too, before introducing young Scott and Jean.

I don't know if we will see a whole bunch of new characters if they plan on including the actors from the original trilogy maybe one or two i wouldn't want this film to be overcrowded or have several cameos

cable: the wild man of borneo...or rachel. bishop would be interesting, especially if its still in the 60s and they plan to have magneto or someone kill jfk.

Yes my thoughts exactly. But cameos from the cast of the original trilogy who aren't going to have a big role in movie like (I think) Iceman, Rogue, Colossus, Angel and even Shadowcat would be nice.

another event movie would be great, but I think it should come a bit later, not right after Days of future.

First Class 3 should come first, in my opinion, to develop the new cast and introduce new members, so by the time the second event movie comes, the team from the past would be bigger and a bit more mature.

If only this First Class sequel isn't going to feature "Days of Future Past" then this could be the perfect timing for Mr. Sinister to be introduced as a major villain.

I think the arrival of new characters is going to be limited, especially now they have at least three returning actors from the original trilogy (so far).

And with two versions of Magneto, it seems unlikely we will get Polaris.

yeah, I have the feeling one of those two will appear.

I think there will be at least 4 x-men from original trilogy, along with old Magneto and Xavier. So that would be 6 characters.

And Bryan will probably add one or two new characters on the future, so the final number could be between 7-9.

Thats my bet. Im soo sure the future wont have less than 7 characters. Time will tell, as always.

Yeah I said that before, if this sequel isn't going to feature the original cast, then there would probably a couple of additions to the 60s X-Men.

I'm at least expecting Bishop. I don't know if I want Cable or not, compare to Bishop, his history in the comics is more complicated than Bishop's.

Bishop's power is too similar to Sebastian Shaw and Havok.

I thought the addition of Riptide in FC was too random, same with Darwin. Totally out of the left field. Riptide was chosen for his destructive powers that would cater to the plot i.e. destroying cerebro, taking down the X-jet. Darwin, I guess was to show "evolution", an easy way to explain the idea of "adapting to survive" to audiences.

I don't want to see Polaris, Sunfire or mutants that can control elements or things we've seen before. Dazzler is the only one I can think of that would be visually appealing. Suggestions?
