Cavil looks huge...

I like the shot. I'm not complaining at all. If someone gives me a screen grab to hold me over until the trailer shown for the Hobbit I'm fine. they could of released nothing and I would of been fine. I do hope to see some actual posters later but I'm sure that will happen.

Again, the poster is somewhat underwhelming, but I'm VERY glad they went for different and not the safe and typical CGI/Photoshop CBM-poster.

Movie posters are about quantity over quality these days. I'm sure we'll get another 15 Man of Steel posters and all except 1 or 2 will be poor Photoshop work. Sucks...but its the way this goes these days. It's luck of the draw in terms of skill.

It's almost like they wanted to release the CC poster but then came to the genius conclusion that it would be a disaster (after the app company mistakenly went live with their test) and quickly mucked up this poster from a screenshot.

All you really need is that \S/. Put that on a poster and it'll grab people's attention. I like the concept as it feels as though it is something akin to the calm before the storm. We've been waiting for an awesome Superman film for years, almost as if metaphorically he has been cuffed, drawn in and kept on a chain, waiting for that moment to break free and let out and perform all kinds of awesome. And hopefully, come next summer, that is exactly what is going to happen.

Man what a **** poster. They aren't even trying anymore. I didn't think you could do worse than photoshopped heads in front of an explosion but WB proved me wrong.
