Why is the film still so low quality! His hair looks so much better than the first promo.

I didn't expect this kind of image for a poster, but Cavill continues to look fantastic as Supes.

I don't think we need the spit curl exactly, but I would like a little bit more wavy/bigger hair as Superman. This actually looked pretty good in terms of style (obviously needs to be black though)

Terrible quality on the picture. That is a striking image though and will get people talking, you don't often see Superman under arrest that will get people curious.

I assume they just wanted to show something to get the buzz going again. But probably don't have any amazing images in the form of posters just yet. I wouldn't be surprised if this was an actual still from the movie. I am underwhelmed, which makes me yearn to see the Hobbit trailer even more. I guess that's a good thing?

Probably because the choice of image is questionable. This sort of poster isn't normally how one would kickstart an awesome advertisement campaign.

Although I do love how much taller Superman is than the other soldiers.

Took a quick look at Ain't It Cool as the views in their Talkbacks are usually...questionable at best and was quite surprised at some of the comments:

Yes there are the jokes and obvious throwaway comments but then you come across these gems where the image could of actually created hype for some when there was none:

I understand the imagery of the poster and what they were going for (provocative), but I am hugely disappointed. This would've made for a great HD image, which could have been dropped as a piece of marketing, but not for an official poster.

Not to mention it looks fan-made and that there are many SHH users here who have made better posters for various superhero movies.

Yeah well, I dont think you will ones you see the movie. Cause I'm just betting that this very poster has a lot to say about the sub-context of the film it self. If you wanna make fun of superman posters, look at SR's. That'a about the worst marketing campaign ever (with the exception of two of its posters)
