Yeah, that'll be the 2nd comic-to-show difference I'll have liked(out of all of them). The first being "Rick having 2 hands".

I like how we're getting glimpses of how Rick is beginning to crack. First the phone, then seeing Shane in the Woodbury fight. It's nice to see a psychological toll on people.

I think I read somewhere (or heard it on TD) that Kirkman regretted cutting off Rick's hand. It seems unlikely that it will happen on the show, and I'm fine with that too.

Yeah, Kirkman's said it a bunch of times. It's really limited Rick in the comics.

Just got into the series a little over a week ago... I'm in the middle of season 2, the episode after Shane opens the barn.
So far my favorite characters are Daryl and Shane... I don't see Shane lasting much longer though. Question... Shane and Lori... when did that affair start? Before Ricks coma? Also, how long was that coma? The clocks had ran out of batteries lol

A little off topic, but it's obvious Kirkman was inspired by Romero with some of his material, do you think Kirkman's zombies will eventually develop intelligence like Bub and Big Daddy from " Day of the Dead ", and " Land Of the Dead " ?

That's right, he also said that he regretted the idea of cutting Rick's hand so I believe we won't be seeing that scene in this show.

I agree, but in the show it seems that the zombies are already slightly smarter/stronger than they are in the comics.

Didn't we already get a moment like that last season that with Rick and Shane in "18 Miles Out"?

Also, did anyone see the previews for that film Warm Bodies? Looks like they've finally created a Twilight film with zombies lol.
Seriously though it looks like an interesting concept. There was that one Romero Dead film that had a zombie/human girl love situation, but it was never taken any further. This film is a pretty new and interesting take on the whole zombie human relationship and is different because we really haven't ever had a zombie film from the zombie's perspective. Plus it has John Malcovich in it...so you know you can't go wrong. I want to see it lol. http://insidemovies.ew.com/2012/12/0...ies-trailer-2/

I think Kirkman said that they wouldn't do that as well. Puts my mind at ease.

Yeah. I personally hope it lasts longer. Though didn't they say that the Governor arc would span seasons 2 and 3? So it's possible he could bite the dust in 3. Still, I'd much rather they keep Tyreese around for a while.

I want the scene between Axel volunteering to go to Woodbury with everyone and everyone who volunteered but Axel packing up to leave.

I read the book, Warm Bodies, a while back and thought it was awesome. The trailer however, sucked.

I thought it looked pretty funny. I keep hearing people compare it to Twilight, but I didn't get that at all. It seemed pretty clear to be a zombie parody/comedy type film to me. At least that's the vibe I got from the trailer.

I would hope the group knows better than to follow the lead of somebody they know nothing about, no matter how nice he appears to be, considering how much trouble they've gotten into because of other people. I think there's only so much they will learn about Tyreese in the 8 episodes that are left.
