No there isn't. The joke was that the Superman trailer would make the creators of the new Thor trailer chicken out and send it back to the editing room before releasing it.

That was all the joke was.

True and that's fair bc the Returns trailer had me so psyched. And I agree Snyder has to show off. I should have been at little more specific when I said action. I'm talking about fists landing from Supes or at least the tease of such. A heroic angry Superman blasting heat vision. Something like that.

According to that comic book movie website some rough Thor 2 footage was shown at some international convention. Don't know if it's true.

I also want the trailer to highlight the sci-fi, alien aspect of Superman.

and.......I want to see glimpses of Krypton!!

that alone should help set MOS apart from the boring, ice crystal planet of yore......

I'd like to see a scene with Superman interacting wth Lois or Clark interacting with Lois. I want to get an idea of this version of their relationship.

lol yes I was joking about the Thor trailer. At the same time, marvel has a way of releasing their little trailers and because of their name and the lack of anything else around(being good) in the genre.

Watching the original thor trailer agian I can't help but shake my head violently.

Anyways what I actually meant is that every now and then a trailer comes around so strong and forward thinking that it influences later trailers to follow suit in some way or another. Recently:
Bay's done it,
Nolans done it.

just remember, the money shot comes at the very end.

Reading that now, i'm just glad, for starters, that the writer dosen't ignorantly write off Hackman's Lex as being silly and actually recognizes the sense of evil in the character. Like the writer says, killing millions of people is pretty damn vicious.

Actually I disagree. Superman II, for me, is a film I want to ignore because of its history, and its two cuts: a comedic yet cynical version (Lester), and a heartfelt yet incomplete cut (Donner). For me, anyone who could make an ultimate cut of SII, it would have to be one of us and not anyone who didn't take the material seriously or doesn't have hatred over something that happened, now, 33 years ago that affects his filmmaking when he goes back to that film. But one that takes that story, all of the cuts, maybe even III and IV, and enhances the film, fixes the film, makes it just as good if not better than STM, as it was probably intended.

There is only one guy who can do that, and he wanted to have it as an officla relase which WB isn't keen on doing. But man, if it did...
